I’m worrying all the time. I don’t know how to quiet down my fears.I’m increasingly turning to drugs and alcohol to get through the day.
But I’m trying to make positive changes, every morning I work out and walk about 9/10k steps a day, I’m eating better. But at the same time I’m restricting my calories ‘too extremes’, more conscious than ever, more suicidal than ever. I don’t know what it means or what to tell the doctors, in some ways I’m better, others I’m not. I dunno what to do.

excercise helps me stay calm for hours after, and I also naturally just need a whole lot of it. There’s some low cal foods that are excellent for general health too. You can’t really eat too many leafy greens and squashes, or whole grains like brown rice, rye berry, bulgur wheat etc., and fresh fruit and berries(esp. berries) have a lower glycemic index than snack foods or other sugary things. 1 cup of quality greek yogurt, plain, with 1tsp of maple syrup and/or few berries is high protein and lower in sugar than most of the “low-cal” packaged foods, and the sweetness and flavor of the berries comes out in yogurt really well. Just thoughts. Keep going starryeyed.
I still love your name by the way. 🙂
oh btw starryeyed…. there’s a supplement called “methylated B12”. Methylated B vitamins are the bioactive form, which is the form B12 is in when it’s ready for use in cells, and Methylated B12 can absorb under the tongue. I get the liquid stuff and use 3-5 drops several times a day. I think it has really helped my mental health. My senses are more acute than ever(I’m already “HSP”) but I have less severe negative reactions to noise and light, and less sensory distortion since I started using it a couple months ago.
Alcohol depletes Thiamine(B1) in the body too. You can research that online since it is well documented. That can affect your mind as much as hangovers/withdrawal.

Oh thank you fox, for the food tips as well x
I’ve found working out can help, good for you Starryeyed. Generally speaking extreme calorie cutting can bring lack of energy / sluggishness, so that coupled with a fragile state of mind could lead to elevated woes. I would also say if working out is new you’re burning more calories than ever. So fewer calories ingested, more calories burned…
I guess I’m recommending maybe take the positive change a little slower, that also may help keep one from burning out on an extreme diet/workout regimen
I hope that helps some, good luck
Yes thank you exercise is new for me so I am pacing myself but I’m not letting myself slip either, if I give myself an inch I’ll take a mile sorta thing. I’m just being strict. But Im not sure if I can trust my own perception on how healthy my behaviours are right now. But thank you either way xx
Good luck love.
Thank you x
