Does anybody here overthink or easily stress themselves out? I guess that’s what anxiety is. I never feel calm and my mind keeps overthinking shit like its so important to try to remember everything and i hate it. What would you recommend for a person that struggles with daily constant thoughts, easily stressed out and overthinking?

lorazepam
Do simple puzzles or study something you are interested in. Quantum mechanics?
That sounds like hyperfocusing and it’s sometimes symptomatic of ADHD. One of the better sides of it, so long as it isn’t overly intense or stuck in a negative rut. It’s fantastic for organizing stuff, so long as the stuff you’re organizing isn’t boring. I put my stupid hyperactive brain to work on immediate reality as much as possible and that can help keep the self-talk to a minimum. It does make you feel like a calculator after a while, though.
This is pretty much what I experience on a daily basis. The only thing that has partially worked to calm me down during these moments is just to write. Write everything that is on your mind, even if it doesn’t make sense just let it all out of paper or type it.
I haven’t found anything at the moment that has completely stopped my issue regarding overthinking and stress, so I understand your predicament.
Try a lot of things, writing is a good one it helps you put your thoughts in order. Don’t get drunk even if it is very tempting because your anxiety is going to be even worse after, when I m not feeling too bad I also do yoga at home it kind of helps
