I knew something was wrong when..

by its_my_fault_how

I suddenly couldn’t feel anymore. It take the adrenaline from the fight or flight response just to get out of bed in the morning. I have the opportunity to say bye as everything crumbles around me. Soon I’ll probably be admitted to the hospital if I make it that far. It pains me to wake up every morning knowing that someone else could use my wasted life to do great things.

So, why do you get up in the morning? What moves you to do that? What is such a dramatic event that you wake up or don’t?

It’s up to you really if you want to go to the hospital, or stay where you are, or do something to expedite your demise.

There are many people who don’t really do anything with their lives. Most people are irrelevant and interchangeable. It’s up to you whether or not you make the most of the life you have, even if that’s just working hard at a job you like or are good at, and enjoying the small things in life.

For every ‘great’ person, there are thousands or even millions of ‘average’ people. All are important to continue our species and move to our collective future.

Agree. I wish I could give it away to the next person.
Such wasted potential..

Hi, there are various aids for military veterans, please check them out:

https://www.army.mil/soldierresources/

If I remember right, I had read somewhere that they offer housing to a soldier’s family while he’s on duty, and I’m not sure if off-duty too. I guess they offer something similar for retired veterans?

Please contact the telephone line that helps military personnel: https://www.veteranscrisisline.net/get-help/military-crisis-line
