I don’t know how it works in Italy, but someday you’ll likely be able to leave home and country ifyou wish. Even if you don’t complete your education, you can still find a job to support yourself

Maybe right now you can’t. But once you start building job experience it gets easier. What are your passions? I’m sure someone would love to teach you in whatever field interests you. People seem to really enjoy tutoring kids who are passionate about something.

in the U.S. we have many branches of service. is it possible for you to serve in another country’s military or serve your country in some other way? have you talked to a recruiter about your options?

Again, I only know what they do in America, but we have army recruiting offices, marine recruiting offices, etc. why don’t you try looking up something nearby that could help you get the answers you need?

Since Sept. 11, 2001, the United States has granted US citizenship to 32,500 foreign soldiers. In July 2002, US President George W. Bush issued an executive order to expand existing legislation to offer a fast track to citizenship to foreigners who agree to fight for the US Armed Forces. About 8,000 non-Americans have joined the US military every year since then.
The foreigners already represent 5 percent of all recruits. They even make up the majority of soldiers from some New York and Los Angeles neighborhoods. Four years and 3,800 US deaths after the beginning of the Iraq campaign, fewer and fewer American citizens are willing to fight in a war opposed by a majority of the US population. But despite the Iraq war’s lack of popularity, US generals are demanding 180,000 new recruits a year.”
I don’t really know a lot about foreign enlistment, but you can probably find more info on the internet or with the military in your community. Also I’m not sure if you have to first live in America with a work visa or green card in order to enlist. One of my teachers did tell us about a friend of his who decided to join the French military. I’d say it’s possible, but again, I don’t know the details.

it wouldn’t hurt to find out for sure. America isn’t your only option either. a government building would likely have the information you’d need if you want to move to another country. do you have to wait until you’re eighteen to enter the Italian military? many American schools have an ROTC program that helps you prepare to enter the armed services. if it’s possible to go back to school, you may find other branches in the military you can join

school or the military? if enlisting in the military isn’t what you truly want to do, there are a ridiculous amount of fields you can enter. to be “happy” it’s best if you follow your passions in your career, but working at a plant can keep food on the table. You still have time to figure out who you are and where you want to go in life, but once you’re better informed on your options it’ll help with your decisions

that you know of 🙂 if it’s possible to go back to school, I’d recommend it because you can find your talents or your passions. it also opens a lot of doors for future employment. keep trying new things and you just might find something you enjoy

is homeschooling or online classes possible? even without a formal education you can find work but I believe you go into the military with a lower rank (private instead of a sergeant)

I didn’t know if it was social or legal or family related, so I just threw out an alternative. why can’t you go back to school?

okay. does seeking another form of education interest you or would you rather go straight into the workforce? If you have to wait to be a certain age to enter the military or another field, you can always find a job now so you can get experience to feel more confident as you go into what you really want to do or study on your own

I get that that’s what it feels like, but unfortunately life is a little more complicated. why can’t your mom help?

you don’t have to work for your mother. I thought you meant she was helping you find employment somewhere else. Admittedly, the economy worldwide is hurting right now, so can you not find a job? you might have to settle for less until a better job opportunity opens up

I’m sorry, I don’t understand. have you been out of work for that long or is that how long you’ve been at a job you don’t like? I know words are easy and action is hard but once you climb out of the hole it’ll get easier

change is hard but I bet it’ll help you feel better about your situation. I don’t know what employers have offered as a reason not to hire you, but if you take away that reason, they should be able to hire you. Obviously you do have experience by helping out your dad, so that should go in the plus column. If there truly is no work, why can’t you work for your dad again? how did you fail last time?

in my opinion, you don’t need a serious girlfriend when you’re 16. finding love before you can actually live together and see how compatible you really are is rare. there are a lot of lonely people on this site who lost most of their friends or never had any. in that respect, you’re not alone. not going to school cuts you off from a lot of opportunities to find peers you’d consider to be your friends. you said you can’t go back to school partially because of some people. I interpreted that to mean you’ve been bullied. people who pull bullshit like that pick on other people to build up their own tiny egos. cutting yourself off from a wider range of people who may not all be like that would definitely contribute to your feelings now. are you mainly referring to your peers or also your family?

alright then
