What is the true definition of perfection?
- Entirely without any flaws or defects
We are all perfect in God’s eyes. He made us from his own image.
You might be thinking:
- Why did he do this to me?
- Why did he put me through this?
- Why can’t anyone else see what he sees?
You know I don’t really know the answers to these questions either because I was asking them too at one point in time. But one very wise person once told me:
- He only put you through this because he knew you were strong enough to handle it. So don’t loose Faith in him. Don’t give up Hope. For he knows what he is doing you must Trust in him to be able to understand. And even then you may not fully understand.
Her is a quote for you:
- You were made to be yourself so don’t let anyone else dull your sparkle

^Ignore that.
A very interesting and subtly controversial post you have made above. Many here may argue that this assumption that we are made in His image is…callous. However, I’m happy that you hold some faith in life, it may not move mountains but it can certainly lift your spirit and I really think that’s something we need every now and then.
Truth is, no one will ever truly understand what the “big fella’s” plans are. Anyone who says otherwise is trolling.
@Rogue: I loled at that haha. But yup… this looks like a controversial post on the making…
Bullshit. I’m so tired of hearing about the big picture and the plans he has for us. Let me see…….. I have to go through all this shit in my life cause I can handle it, while someone who is week and pathetic gets life on a silver platter cause they can’t cope. Wake up people.
Do you know who else was made to be perfect? The mighty Big Buck’s, four times champion who will be returning today after being sidelined through injury. The greatest staying hurdler ever, he hasn’t been beaten since January 2009 winning 18 consecutive races. He’s a freak of nature, but at the age of 11 and injuries to contend with, he won’t be perfect forever. Like us, he’ll get old, deteriorate and eventually end up in in a selling hurdle, the meat wagon and somebody’s lasagne. That’s gods great plan for us all.
I thought God originally made man perfect, but then woman came along and gave man an apple to eat, and both of them got all un-perfectified and blamed it on a talking snake? God even killed a poor fluffy bunny to give them something to cover their unmentionable bits with.
But aside from that quibble… I have no idea.
“God even killed a poor fluffy bunny to give them something to cover their unmentionable bits with.”
God has been perpetuated, you infidel! Real god wouldn’t do that. The true story, if so, they wore leaves.
Bunny leather for underwear perhaps, that’d be good for a man to have that.
Big Bucks’ perfect record ended today where he weakened in the last 100 yards, beaten just 3/4 of a length into third. The race was won by 66/1 outsider Knockara Beau with At Fishers Cross running an encouraging race in second.
Wow. 66 to 1? What are the odds?
Somebody somewhere must have hired an online spell caster to ensure Knockara Beau’s win.
In a normal world it could not happen. Big Bucks was entitled to get tired because it was his first run in 420 days. Knockara Beau ran a strange race. He was up there then got badly outpaced and looked to be going nowhere before running on again, denying At Fishers Cross in a photo finish. Most of them couldn’t handle the heavy ground. They won’t beat him next time.
Huh. So in a photo finish, a race can be won by a snout?
Does the horse get any special reward for finishing first? Does the horse even know or care if he took 1st, 2nd or 3rd? What incentive is there for the horse? (I’m just curious).
Pride of course. What better reward is there. The horse knows when they win or lose. It affects their confidence.
Horses have pride? I did not know this, although if you’ve ever seen a naked horse they do have a lot to be proud of.
How can we really know what goes through the mind of any animal? We can’t communicate with them (unless you’re a pet psychic).
I just got back from the store. I picked up some two ply TP, aloe scented bar soap, and two pounds of coffee. Coffee has actually come down in price, apparently coffee bean farmers had an above average yield. Greater supply translates into lower prices at the market. (Supply & demand). These are all off topic comments, no offense to the OP.
They can have a sudden loss of form where tests and examinations provide no explanation. Physically they are the same but having a hard race, falling or suffering defeat can leave a mental scar. Once they develop bad habits it’s difficult to persuade them otherwise.
I haven’t noticed any difference in the price of coffee. Generally everything goes up here.
Hmm, I didn’t know that. So horses are susceptible to psychological damage as well. How does one motivate or inspire a race horse? Are there any forms of therapy available for horses? This all seems pretty complicated. I’ve always figured a horse is just a horse, of course, but maybe they’re more complex than I originally thought.
I’m not sure. They are intelligent animals fully aware of what’s going on.
Fully aware, huh? Do horses debate philosophy in the stables late at night when no one’s around? hehe. I’m not trying to be sarcastic, I’ve wondered if any animals (like dogs, horses or dolphins) believe in god or an afterlife or anything similar to that. I figure most of them eat, sleep, procreate, crap, fight, play, and that’s about it. Their motivational drivers are pretty simple. Who knows though.
They say some dogs have the intelligence of a child aged 5. Their attention and understanding is limited but they appreciate kindness and companionship. My friend had a dog that cried when he was absent. Animals get depressed, feel suicidal and even self harm.
Huh, ok. I was looking at those cheerleaders on that other post. It’s cool there’s another Oregon Ducks fan here.
