I like sleep a lot! What 16 year old doesn’t. I just have been having trouble falling asleep and then staying asleep. It is killing me everyday because even getting out of bed is becoming exhausting. I am so stressed out and beginning to start giving up. I just want to be able to sleep. It’s slowly killing me inside.

I’d say “definitely been there” but I’ve always been there and it seems I always will.. Supposedly it’s quite strange, but it’s more or less natural for me. Not saying that I’m not unhappy about it or constantly tired, but there’s worse and I’ve been there several times.
Should ask yourself questions along the lines of: Are you stressed? Has something changed in your life recently?
You don’t need worry too much about it for now, but if you still have more trouble than you’re usually accustomed to after a month you could see a doctor (preferably a sleep doctor). But I recommend just taking some time away from whatever you’re doing now and see how it goes.. sometimes that solves the problem.
Also found this after finding out that one of my friends has no trouble coping with 2 hours of sleep a day. Hope you find some consolation or use for it.
