Oh, I see… Spouses can be cruel. 🙁 I mean, I don’t know from experience, of course, but from what other people on this site report…
My father is also a musician. He even used to have a fair amount of notoriety on the Industrial scene. Then the last time he was arrested, his girlfriend at the time cheated on him with their neighbor before subsequently moving to Georgia, and stole all of Dad’s equipment. He never got it back. His depression after that was devastating, and he hasn’t made music since. So, I can understand why such a thing that seems small to others would push you over the edge. I’m so sorry, Alan…:-(
I’m not allowed to listen to my Devil Music. Now I can’t play. My guitar is my razor blade. I’ll play until I get blisters through my calluses. Then play some more. Sorry for your dad. It’s so detrimental. I’m just sitting here like, I’m so fucked. I’m so lost and confused.
She sounds like a total B*****. If someone did that to me, I’d resort to breaking everything they hold near and dear. Take something of hers and smash, i mean err, accidentally, drop it 😛

Truly appreciate the compassion and empathy. At least my work van has a stereo that functions unlike last week. I do have an acoustic, but to be honest. Metal on acoustic is like eating cereal with a butter knife.

Get a pocket amp. My family hated my sloppy playing so headphones and a pocket amp is heaven to me, lol. I do agree in that, metal on acoustic is like trying to cut a stake with a plastic fork.
I just sold my Fender mini tonemaster, Marshall mg10, because I got an all tube half stack… I know it sounds whiny, but I literally consider death over this.
