So let’s say you meet the proverbial Devil. What would you give up your soul for? Assuming one believes in souls / devils / afterlife.

Immortality? Eternal youth? Beauty? Happiness? Some super talent? Would you strike a deal?

Are you irritated and annoyed by something or someone? Someone flip you off the road? Did someone say or do something mean to you, or did some sly backstabbery? Or maybe you secretly envision slappin’ the heck out of someone. Come, type out your grievances and rant with me.

Ok, I’ll start.

1. “Hi, How are you?” – No one really cares how you are; the only acceptable answers are “good”, “ok” or “fine.” If you actually answer the question, people look at you funny, get awkward, and tries to skip to something else. So, then why do you ask? Just required/expected things that people are “supposed” to say when they greet each other.

Been broken my entire life. It’s just come to a point where I just feel hopeless now, because if it hasn’t happened in several decades, what’s the likelihood that I’ll be better a year from now? 5 years from now? 10 years from now? to the day before I eventually die?

What’s the point of living if you don’t have love? Love from others, or love for yourself? I am so broken- mentally, physically, emotionally, in every way. I feel lousy about every part of my life. I am neither alive nor dead.

I wish I had a bottle of liquid death. Even if I don’t use it right now, I would have the comfort of knowing I can end it any time. But alas…I have no such bottle…
