People say that indifference is evil. I agree with this. However, people also claim that the planet is not evil, or good, but indifferent. It is argued that this is a beautiful thing- no reason to be upset about it. This argument has no logical consistency. This seems to be the hallmark of the healthy person, from what I’ve observed- this ability to lie to yourself, to change the facts to fit your opinion, to make the world make more sense to you, so you can keep swimming through all this shit, so you don’t really give a fuck about children dying in other countries, […]

I’m going through a really bad spell, as it was just my birthday and (as I suspected I might) and I spent it alone with a Cup O’ Noodles.
I told my *best friend* that even though I didn’t feel much like going to a casino (which she said SHE was up for, knowing that a casino wouldn’t be the best place for me right now, I suspect) I would love to see her and visit.
She never bothered writing back.
She is a terrible friend.
My most major effort toward a career that I’ve never spoken of on here because it was too real […]
Every time I set out to write, a book comes spilling out. I’ve deleted four fucking entries. The problems are too vast. I need to talk to someone who cares about me, someone I can be honest with, but there is no one. There is only my sister, and she has mental problems of her own and gets frustrated with other problems easily and then won’t talk to me for a long time in order to recover. I am so alone. My best friend abandoned me and I have no future. I’m 31 and my “boyfriend” treats me like crap. We both live with his […]
If you do not seem to have the ability to ignore your own flaws, then you are barely even a human and should congratulate yourself for that-
I have stumbled across this site on accident and after looking over it all night and then joining, I am so grateful to have found it. I’ve been needing to talk to someone for a long time (decades, really). I realized I am scared to share it on here, also. No one will care (even though I know that here is the most probable place I will find like minds), it will be too long (because it is, indeed, an extremely long story and would probably have to be done in increments), because even though my problems ARE severe, I am fully aware that many […]
I strongly recommend anyone reading this to watch the documentary “The Suicide Tourist.” It is a special about an American man with Lou Gherig’s disease who traveled to Switzerland where the right to die for foreigners is legal, albeit controversial. This man chose to end his life due to the inevitability of his physical pain, suffering and death, but I have a feeling many on here may find parallels to their own lives and may find it beneficial. Seriously, Youtube, TV, wherever you can find it, if you can find it, watch it.
