In March 2014, I was sent to the mental ward for suicidal thoughts. Here is my experience.

One day, I had an appointment with my doctor, during which we discussed my depression. He asked me if I ever attempted suicide. I said yes, and told him about the previous day, when I had tried to hang myself but was interrupted by my dad. My doctor told me to promise not to try again. I don’t really know where to start off. This is my first post so please don’t criticize me or anything.

Suicide Pact was A Failure, Now I’m in a Mental Ward

I attempted suicide again this month. Well, attempted isn’t really the right word. I was going to join a Suicide Pact but to my surprise, someone contacted the authorities beforehand and stopped us. After taking any tests, I was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder, Agoraphobia, Social Anxiety Disorder, and Insomnia. But hey, at least I got a new batch of pills. Man, the workers in the mental ward are true assholes, treating you like your crazy, it’s really annoying. Well, at least I was able to get out.

Im dating one of the most amazing boys in the world. His name, i wont say.. due to people he knows may see this .. but lets get on with the story.

I don’t know what to do.

Cry?- Check. Have a mental breakdown?-Check. Sit and stare into space?- Check.

So.. Tonight, at about half eight-nine, i started to break down. I started to tell myself that it was happening and everyone is going to die. Then i logged onto facebook to try to calm myself down, only to read a lot of status’ about Chantelle…. Things like R.I.P. After some research, i found out that on Tuesday 3rd April 2012, she committed suicide.

I didn’t know her, but still this news has mentally destroyed me.

It makes me think that, how i’m feeling right now… will be what it’s like […]

Nobody knows about my current suicide plans.Â My family knows about the two preteen/teen attempts but they think I’m all better now.Â Tell people what they want to hear and… you know the rest.Â The third attempt they may have found out about except my little brother is listed as my contact and well from what he does for a living I KNOW he will not snitch.

killing myself

i have had three attempts.

!. od on vicodin, got sick, pain for over a week following, think i did permanent liver damage

2. od on ativan/ambien, friend called 911, transport to hospital, don’t remember much, forced to drink charcoal, hospitalized in mental ward

3. strangulation, friend found me, cut tube off my neck, damaged throat & had difficulty swallowing

if i try again i am going to drink a lot of alcohol, take a bottle of of ativan & hang myself from a bridge near my house. i have the rope and i have been practicing tying noose knots. i’m pretty good at it now.
