i’m back to coping, music like this will be with me. puts my mind to sleep for a month or so.
Music
Lyrics:
Trouble, oh trouble set me free
I have seen your face and it’s too much, too much for me
Trouble, oh trouble can’t you see
You’re eating my heart away and there’s nothing much left of me
–
I’ve drunk your wine, you have made your world mine
So won’t you be fair, so won’t you be fair
I don’t want no more of you, so won’t you be kind to me
Just let me go where I’ll have to go there
–
Trouble, oh trouble move away
I have […]
Lyrics:
Everyday nothing seems to change
Everywhere I go I keep seeing the same old things
and I, I can’t take it no more
I would leave this town, but I,
I ain’t got nowhere else to go
–
Wake up in the morning to more,
more bad news and I
sometimes I feel like I was born to lose and I,
It’s driving me out of my mind
Gonna catch the next train and I
move on down the line
–
I’ll be ready now
I’ll be […]

Cover version by Raining Pleasure (2005):
Lyrics:
Sitting in the time of day when the sun is very warm
Dreaming in a kind of way that a dream is always born
Drifting with the things I feel when I put away my will
Sleeping in the time of day when the sun is very still.
–
I’m alone here with you / Take my time, take me too…
–
Leaving in the time of day when the sun is getting cold
Walking in the kind […]
Lyrics:
Ah, look at all the lonely people…
Ah, look at all the lonely people…
–
Eleanor Rigby picks up the rice
In the church where a wedding has been,
Lives in a dream…
Waits at the window, wearing the face
That she keeps in a jar by the door,
Who is it for…
–
All the lonely people,
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people,
Where do they all belong?
–
Father McKenzie writing the words
Of a sermon that no one will hear,
No one comes near…
Look at him working, darning his socks
In the night when there’s nobody there,
What does he care…
–
All the lonely […]
Lyrics:
I see a red door and I want it painted black
No colours anymore, I want them to turn black
I see the girls go by dressed in their summer clothes
I have to turn my head until my darkness goes
–
I see a line of cars and they’re all painted black
With flowers and my love both never to come back
I see people turn their heads and quickly look away
It’s like a new born baby, it just happens every day
–
I look inside myself and see my heart turned black
I see my red door I must paint it black
Maybe then […]
Lyrics:
Overhead the albatross
Hangs motionless upon the air
And deep beneath the rolling waves
In labyrinths of coral caves
The echo of a distant time
Comes willowing across the sand
And everything is green and submarine
And no one called us to the land
And no one knows the wheres or whys
Something stirs and something tries
Starts to climb toward the light
–
Strangers passing in the street
By chance two separate glances meet
And I am you and what I see is me
And do I take you by the hand
And lead you through the land
And help me understand
The best I […]
Miguel De Unamuno – An Eternal Elegy
Oh Time, Time,
relentless tyrant!
Oh terrible mystery!
The past does not return,
it never comes back again,
ancient history!
Yes, ancient, but always the same,
terrifying!
Always present…
. . . . . . . . . . . .
When consciousness is deprived
of the passage of time,
what is it that remains?
What happens to light if the mirror is broken?
. . . . . . . . . . . .
Fierce Saturn,
oh […]
” In music the passions enjoy themselves. ” – Friedrich Nietzsche
Nikos Skalkottas (1904-1949) was one of the greatest composers of the 2oth century classical music – I personally place him next to Kurt Weill and Igor Stravinsky. It’s a shame that nowadays most people (especially here in Greece) don’t know his work. Here’s the wikipedia page about him:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikos_Skalkottas
I should write what are the names of the compositions and the songs in this video and where the photos in it are taken.
36 Greek Dances
00:00 – 01:23 Epirotikos – photos from the region of Epirus in Greece.
01:24 – 03:22 Kleftikos – photos of various Greek mountains.
03:22 – 05:16 Tsamikos (An Eagle) – photos […]
I wrote a post earlier asking for metal music suggestions and was satisfied with the suggestions I received. I’ll leave the link on the bottom.
My favorate music genres are:
metal (Black is my favorate but all is enjoyable)
Rock (gunsengunsen(that’s what I call Guns N’ Roses for the laughs), highly suspect is new but good and Pink Floyd Perl jam etc)
Jazz (Chet Baker fav, also songs like monks dream- take 8, in your own sweet way, take five and so on)
and one more genre that I don’t quite know what is called ( Cigarettes after sex, Korey Dane, Beck) but it’s like calm music with whispering or […]
Intro
So like, I was wondering about posting as much 1-3 posts, and then maybe taking a big break for a while… I might come around to comment and stuff, but yeah. :p
With that said though, here is my first one with general ideas on things that might help you feel at ease a bit more. 🙂
Music
(Solfeggio (Hz), Lofi, Classical, Hipster/Indie, etc.)
Sometimes I like to listen to really relaxing music, from anything like the solfeggio (hz) stuff which I heard 432 hz is really helpful, to lofi, to even… one 1 hour indie music track even on youtube. XD I think I got it from Life […]
Wouldn’t it be better if everyone of us could live in his/her own unique madness?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7YEVP4r2ok
Lyrics:
Leave the madman in his madness
And don’t try to bring him to his senses
You don’t know what is hidden
Inside the mind of a madman
–
He might find in his madness
Everything he has desired
And wasn’t able
To see and to obtain
–
Leave the madman in his madness
Leave him in his dream
He’s been sick and tired of this world
And he created one of his own
Persephone’s nightmare
Lyrics (English translation):
Where once pennyroyal and wild mint grew
and the first cyclamen sprang up,
now peasants bargain on cement prise
and birds fall dead in melting furnace
Sleep Persephone
in earth’s embrace,
to this world’s balcony
never come up again
where once the mystics joined their hands
reverently before entering the sanctuary,
now passing tourists throw their cigarette butts
and go to see the new oil refinery
Sleep Persephone
in earth’s embrace,
to this world’s balcony
never come up again
where once the sea was blessed
and flocks and herds bleated joyfully in […]
Sometimes I think there’s never been
A highway so wide and mean
Leading to a room so cold and bare
Faded pictures on the wall
Stories of a past untold
Sunny beaches turn to ruthless tide
There’s a new motel in town
It’s called the end of broken dreams
There’s a new place in town
It’s called the end of broken dreams
Out of the blue my name is fear
And I’ll haunt you if I care
Out of this world my game is clear
And I’ll catch you if I dare
But there is no time for me to stay
Maybe it’s time to ride the ray
Maybe tomorrow never comes
Crawling lizards in the sun
Do we part like fallen leaves
Like […]
I love music but im not particularly good at any musical instrument and my voice is terrible. Nevertheless, not listening to music may be the worst thing about dying. I love the beatles so much and even consider paul mccartney my soul mate (we have the same birthday!!!). When im sad, happy and just full of whatever emotions, i would just listen to them and other golden tunes like:
Morning Has Broken – Cat Stevens
Make You Feel My Love – Adele
Your Song – Elton John
Walk On the Wild Side – Lou Reed
Don’t Dream It’s Over – Sixpence None The Richer
Go Your Own Way – Fleetwood Mac
Take […]
Fisrt of all I’m not proud of this. I’ve never thought I would be publishing something in a page like this. I guess there’s a first time for everything.
Second, I’m spanish that’s why my grammar sucks, pretty much that.
I have no idea where should I start. I’ve been depressed for a lot of years, I tried to kill myself a couple of times but I didn’t suceed.
Background:
My parents are not together, they divorced when I was eight. My mother started returning really late from work, kids started bullying me at school, but I could handle it, until I was twelve. My father was getting married […]
Here’s my latest project, finished last Sunday.
It’s supposed to reflect the upheaval and turbulence of needing answers to certain things, but not having those answers– and coming to terms with the possibility of never having them.
