Distance
From the voices I’ve heard
Some are never coming back
Some can’t come back
Did I know you
Or is this just a terrible dream
My hand reaches into the dark
Something moves away
I am alone again
The choice was not mine
Where is that safe place
Prescriptions can’t take me there anymore
Again I’ve muddied the carpet with tears
The solemn song moves up my spine
The paralysis is permanent
I will die never having touched your face
Prescriptions
Full-alert here, if you are going to try to bash me, insult me, or talk me out of this, please leave this thread. I am not asking for your judgement or opinions. You are not me, you have not lived my life, and so you have no right to decide what I should do with it Second warning, this is a very long post. Please bear with me.
Okay, after getting that point across, I was wondering the certain fatality doses for prescription medications. I am trying to garner as much information from people as possible, so if you know any other websites/forums where I won’t […]
My mother is still physically and mentally abusive. And she never use to be abusive at all but i dont really know what happened. My mom has said hurtful things to me like telling me im a fuck-up and im worthless and also that nobody likes a little girl with scars. Not to metion the physical abuse so bad that i wish she would just kill me right then, but anyways i just cant bring myself to hate her and i still care about her dearly and i even drained my bank account to help pay for her surgery and prescriptions. Is there something wrong […]
About three years ago is when I first felt unhappy. I was in high school, had a girlfriend, was president of the film club, but I wasn’t happy. I just felt like there had to be more to life and that going away to college the next year would really open my eyes to the wonder and power off the “real world.” So I moved as far away from home as I could, to Colorado. At college I got into the drug scene really quick, I managed to stay away from most of the hard stuff but a lot of my new found and still […]
~as always grammar is not present here. deal with it.~
my parents know that i am really depressed. they take me to doctors and therapists and they pick up my prescriptions.
i feel like they should have a little more logic…
…they still let me collect knives.
i dont cut very often but still, shouldnt it be logic to not let a depressed kid have a collection of knives? also they know im good at sharpening… i cut a penny in half with one of my knives once.
i just think that its weird that they never though that a bunch of knives could be a BAD thing? is that just […]
I’m so tired of it all. My mother is putting me under an enormous amount of pressure to get all of this school work done by the end of may, but I know I cannot do it. Even if I stopped talking to internet friends and reading, I would still not get it done in time. With one of my classes, which conveniently, is the hardest one for me, I can do it through the summer. But my mother came into my room last night screaming her head off about me finishing it and that I would not do it over the summer. She is […]
This will probably be somewhat incoherent. I apologize in advance for that.
I am 25 years old, and just graduated from a university with a degree in music. I took out nearly $60,000 in private student loans to get the degree, to say nothing of the federal loans.
My job prospects now are no better than they were when I was in high school, and are in fact worse, thanks to the economy and my foolish, self-indulgent decision to get a music degree. The worst part is that my family cosigned on the private loans, and they’re going to destroy their credit along with mine. I could […]
I realized I could kill myself at a young age. When I grew older, I realized that being suicidal brought attention. Even more older, I realized being suicidal would eventually alienate people. Eventually I realized, My feelings of suicide, were real, and instead of providing help, people would rather compare and challenge my problems with theirs, just to justify they were a bit more troubled than I was. I suppose that’s how my friends justified ignoring me.
I found that when my “symptoms” didn’t fit textbook examples of typical suicidal people, that psychiatrists started shortening my visits, yet still wrote out prescriptions. I found that only […]
