Why do we reach out to those that have harmed us?

Is it somehow an innate desire inside that they will change and see the error of their ways and realize that after years of degrading us, we’re actua lly worth something?

Dad used to scold me for my self-worth being low, but he kept contributing to it by making fun of my weight, or my bleeding issues.  How could a Registered Nurse be so cruel, knowing, as a biology major, that the health issues I have are pretty severe?

just a rant…letting it go…

so just need to rant here…I am not having a good experience at the new place where I am living. The older room mate is a talker who is unaware of boundaries and when to just shut the fuck up. I humour her and say the appropriate things but it gets old really fast. I am feeling manipulated when she starts off with “so what are you doing tomorrow?” I now turn it around and say “Why would you ask that? Whats on the go for you tomorrow?”

Never good enough, never alone, but lonely
