I’ve given some thoughts about this very carefully.
And I’ve come to a conclusion:
Those of us who feel suicidal here is probably because either we’re a:
– Highly Sensitive
– Highly Creative
– or Highly Intelligent kind of people
– or the combination of both three above!
I am not saying this to brag or anything, but the more I observe & give attention to the people’s story and also thorough human’s history, the more it becomes very clear & obvious to me that MOST people who are suicidal can belong into those three categories above..in other words, they can see more things than what most ‘normal’ people in ‘work-like-a-machine’ society nowadays couldn’t able to see or comprehend.
It’s like: we’re so limited in our physical body and what we can do, while we got tortured because of the potentiality of what we KNOW we *could* do, if not limited by this…absurd physicality & ‘human-made rules, pro…tocols’ whatever!
It is soo depressing and no wonder made so many us even felt lonely, worthless, or even having suicidal thoughts!
We feel TRAPPED!!
Hence, the depressed state, coupled often with feeling of loneliness (nobody could relate to us), and at the very final frontier, the suicidal thoughts (feeling “is this all this world/life really is??? I don’t feel like I BELONG here!”)
What do you think?

Niki: I’ve read both sides of this intelligence related to suicide debate; like this: http://seedmagazine.com/content/article/suicidal_tendencies/
I don’t think there’s much validity to it. If anything, intelligent ppl are better able to get themselves OUT of predicaments and solve issues using their own creativity and smarts. There are so many variables involved with mental health & depression – culture, upbringing, religiosity, human relationships, physiology, diet & exercise, sunlight (or lack thereof); that I don’t think one thing can be pinned down as a cause, like high intelligence.
