He exists

some of you clearly need to research a little something called: “the problem of evil.”

And much, much more.

My take on it is this:

If there were an all good, all powerful God, he would know exactly what he created, and he would know that we cannot handle such suffering, and he would know we are but humans, flawed and full of mistakes, unable to comprehend what “He” will not show us. Why would he blame and punish such an obviously lesser and inferior being, for not understanding what we’re not allowed, or even capable of understanding? If he is good, he would not. If he knows what he made (such a mess!), then he, mr. all good, all powerful, all knowing, would truly understand our actions, and would forgive us all, even if we’ve hurt many people.

This is all hypothetical, of course, and as an atheist (anti-theist, actually, because not only do i lack any belief in any “God,” i also think that no one else should believe such nonsense, which makes me against theism entirely), i get really tired of wasting my time and energy on thoughts, writings, discussions, arguments, and navigating the theistic systems put in place by believers.

I do not want to spend time and energy on something that obviously does not exist… but i am surrounded by an atmosphere of imposed theology and “religious” dynamics, which i did not create, did not choose in which to participate, and cannot simply go elsewhere, to escape. It is rampant, widespread, and infests every area of the world… so i have no choice but to remain trapped in this crap that forces me to waste my time explaining what people should be learning on their own… but, people who want to believe, avoid finding the truth, rather than asking the right questions, and discovering the answers they don’t want to find.

The only “God” that exists, is the “meme,” the idea of a divine being, which resides permanently and exclusively in our minds.

Seriously people, do research… that is, if you really want to know what truth is.

Otherwise, keep pretending you know, keep insisting what you believe is real, and stay an enemy of truth, reality, and progress.

Obviously, we haven’t learned everything yet. There are things we don’t know. There are probably things we can’t know, and can’t measure.

But in the absence of a suitable explanation for a phenomenon, you can’t just automatically substitute “god” for an answer. That’s insane, and absurd.

Just because we don’t yet know something, it means God? What!? That will *never* make sense.

And, how do you know we’re “special” and “supercede” all other beings? Have you ever fought a bear? How about a tiger?

Sure, we might be smartest, but we’re definitely not the “hardest.”

And if you really pay attention to the world, you’ll realize that intelligence is certainly not the most important aspect or feature. Just look at Idiocracy, for example. It doesn’t take intelligence to produce lots of offspring and a huge family tree, thereby out-populating the intelligent ones who realize there’s more to life than making babies.

We started from zero, and from zero, claims of Gods were made.

To all those claims, my response shall be: “Prove It.”

And until you have proof, your claims cannot be represented as “true,” or attain any status higher than “claims.” Outrageous unverified claims, utterly lacking any supporting evidence, are not sufficient to replace actual answers.

Theism demands proof from science, but none from itself. Science was built for asking all the questions and finding all the answers, because theism could not sufficiently explain anything… and even worse, lied about most of what it did try to answer.

The only reason religion exists, is because people need something to believe, so that they won’t give up when things go too wrong, and become too harsh. It’s all about a comforting consolation fantasy, to provide false hope of another existence beyond this one, and to lessen the value of our finite time here.

And, someday, if i die and meet God, and find out there is one… then if he is anything close to what is described, then he will know he made me the way i am, he will know why, and understand, all of my choices and actions… he will know he made me intelligent enough to ask questions, rather than just settling for unsupported claims. He will know he made me too intelligent to accept outrageous claims without proof, or at least strong evidence. He will know he never acted within his all-powerful capabilities, to show me he existed, and so, being infallible, that must be what he wants… and so why would a perfect infallible being blame me for being exactly the result he intended to create?

Suffice to say: i’m not even slightly worried. If there is a god, no one has properly defined it yet. If there is a god, he surely knows he made atheists and anti-theists, and he surely knows it’s unreasonable to expect intelligent beings to believe anything without evidence, especially since he supposedly created this world full of deceptive and untrustworthy people.

If he exists, then he knows what’s up around here… and i’m certain he would blame those causing the suffering, and causing the sources of the problems that lead to so much of it, rather than those who simply “doubt” or simply cannot comprehend something we’re not designed to understand.

Otherwise… there is no god, and we are on our own, and need to learn to help ourselves, because there is no one else “out there” to help us make this world better.

We need to learn how to ask the right questions, and ask them, and do useful things with the answers we are able to find… instead of trying to “just believe hard enough” and waiting for “miracles” to save us all.
