Has anyone here been fired from a job because of their depression and having emotional breakdowns mostly every shift? Â I am too scared to find another job because I don’t want to disappoint anyone else.
@Ablackrose: Hi, I clicked on your post because I’m sort of in the same rut. I’m in college & my depression has gotten so bad that I can barely do my work. I happen to be studying something that’s not hard for me so I can finish my assignments, but I find it really tough to focus on anything I’m not deeply interested in. And I’m supposed to start this internship in a few weeks that was super difficult to get, and I’m terrified I won’t be able to do the work because I’m so depressed.
So, yes, I get what you’re saying. I have no idea how deeply depressed people continue functioning in a world that demands productivity (I guess unless you happen to be on a health benefits program that covers your cost of living). Very sorry you’re hurting.
I decided to stay alive until the end of the year unless I find a good job that I can hold for several years. If I have difficulties keeping a screwed up job then I will still consider croaking anyways. It sucks being a father not being able to support the family. This economic(lie) bullshit leads to family problems which is stress-full. I feel they are trying to purge us anyways like in the 1930’s when everyone started jumping out of buildings.
