I was once nothing. From the nothing I became something. Surely if I return to the nothing, I can once again spring into something.
Awareness is quite a weird thing really. A computer takes input, processes it, gives an output. It is never aware.
A man takes input, processes it, gives an output, and meanwhile there is this pesky thing called awareness observing the whole ordeal. A man that simply does, and does not observe while doing, makes infinitely more sense.
I wonder if it is even possible to die. Indeed, if reality constantly branches into different timelines, might it not be possible that we as individuals can only observe the timelines in which we personally do not die?
I am committed to testing this hypothesis.

Interesting perspective on things.
I don’t think it’ll matter for the person you think you are. If you choose to commit suicide and you succeed, that person (or fragment of your mutliverse person) will have died. However, if you live to see another day, it might be that another fragment didn’t.
In the end I don’t think it matters if there’s more out there than we as humans can experiance, because if we can’t, what’s the point in caring about it?
chopenhauer said that “after your death you will become what you were before your birth”.
What were you before you were born? Was there any awareness, any consciousness present without a brain to generate these sensations? Does consciousness exist even after all biological functions necessary for sustaining life have ceased operating?
Your hypothesis sucks. I will not explain what is wrong with it I want you to find the mistakes on your own.
even atheists have NDE’s
God gave you a unique soul. The soul continues on after death.
Where you end up depends on how you handle your life, whether you acknowledge and believe in God and all He has layed out for humanity.
You don’t go back to nothing when you die.
Its quite simple.
No it’s not quite simple. You just spit bunch of baseless assertions with no backup.
The backup is Gods’ Word.
If you don’t want to accept it, you don’t, but then don’t ask why your life is crap and you can’t find happiness or meaning in your life.
I hope you aren’t that unwise to take that position.
First you must prove that it’s gods word and not mans word.
First you must accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and through that commitment you will then understand it all under the guidance of the Holy Spirit,
Then why do so many muslims and buddhists disagree with you?
You should read the book of Moroni. I mean, in Mormonism, you get to have spirit-sex with other gods.
