So i have been diagnosed with postpartum depression and put on zoloft….anybody have experience with this antidepressant? I’m just looking to see any side effects any one experienced and how long it took to kick in? Did it make the suicidal thoughts better or worse? Just any info/real experience is appreciated

My ex girlfriend was on it. It caused her to pass out, made her feel like she was in a fog all of the time.
Really? Well thats not good. Im already in a fog as it is. I guess i’ll see soon. Thanks mrbadguy
SSRI Antidepressants work differently on different people. Zoloft made me feel like a zombie while Prozac worked much better, but as I say, it could be opposite for you. If you find it makes you feel ill or bad, give it a week and go back to your doctor and ask if he can prescribe an alternative like Prozac.
For the most part, these work quite well. It’s only when you use them over an extended period that they start to loose potency and you have to get the dosage adjusted or additional medications added.
P.S. You can look here for further info on it…

Thanks for the feedback, phantomshadow. My dr has already scheduled a follow up appoinment for a week from today.
Let us know how you get on 🙂
I will, phantom. Thank you!
I take it at night. Helps me tremendously. Calm, peaceful thoughts. Allows me to think clearer. I find these optimistic thoughts popping in my head where the same situations would usually arouse negative reactions.
