Im 16, I do independent study. People just say “join a club” or “find a hobby” but I dont even know where to start. I dont really have any hobbys, Â I kickbox and do jiu jitsu 3 times a week but its only adults in there. What are some examples of youth clubs that are usually in towns? I can feel myself cracking without anyone to share this this life with.

There is 4H I’m not sure if your too old or not to join the club. You could get a job and make friends with your co-workers. There are church organizations you could check out if your comfortable with that type of stuff.
You can go to Toysrus and buy some clay, make some people, give them names, and play with them.
You could start writing godawful poetry that sounds like it was written by an eight year old and post it on here. That seems to help for some people.
How very clever squid.
C4, that made me chuckle. It is terrible hearing some of their poetry.
Lupas, thanks for the reply. There is 4H but its straight up hicks. Not my crowd. Im not religious but ill think about getting a job.
Where do people within your age range congregate? Is there an all ages music venue in your town? A pool hall? Could you show up at the local high school football game? Who do you buy weed from if you’re home studied? (I’m just brain storming here). Is there a mall in your town? (There are usually people there. You might find compatible people shopping for stuff that you’re also interested in).
Yeah there is, but how can I just approach a click of kids? My dealer is a scary mofo. Thats why I want to join like a club or some shit, so I can find someone alone like me I can approach.
This might sound strange, but AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) is a good place to meet people. The people there usually know how to have a good time and not all of them are ready to quit. The ones who aren’t preachy can be pretty cool.
Maybe if there’s a weed support group or something near you that might be a good place to meet people. After that network. Make friends with your new friends friends. You’ll be able to get introduced to new people by the “recovering potheads” you met at the support group. Who knows – it could work.
But man, arent they trying to quit? Wouldnt I just be contributing to their relapse? Dont even understand why there would be a weed support group, a support weed group sounds better. Lol. Also, what would I tell my parents? They dont know I smoke. Good suggestion though, I hadnt thought of that.
Not everyone there is trying to quit, just like not everyone who goes to church believes in god, either.
I’m not suggesting that you try to convince someone to relapse. I’m just saying it can be a good place to meet girls.
What do you tell the parents? Hmm. You’re expanding your circle of quality acquaintances.
AA meetings = “Designated pick-up point”
Well, that’s what my uncle said anyway, saw some alright chicks there, might end up having to go myself! And trust me, half the people do not go there to quit, mostly it’s court-appointed or something like that. Sorry gabriel, I’m not the best person to ask about this sorta thing as I’m as lonesome as they get. Good luck to you though, don’t be afraid to put yourself out there.
Ill give it a shot. This is the only plausible answer ive gotten, thanks guys.
And is it going to be one of those things where you have to say, “im gabe and im an addict”? Or different?
More than likely, man. I thought you’d have a decent rapport with any number of gaming communities out there? Bound to be some other gamers near you who don’t breathe through the mouth or only grow hair on their neck.
Yeah but the problem is meeting them. Most of them arent exactly out looking for friends, although I could give a shit if its a comb-over, pen in the pocket, thick framed glasses geek. I just want a damn friend.
ECHO. Just thought it might be an avenue you could take. Well done, best of luck regardless. I used to wear thick framed BCD’s myself, but I’m out of ideas, mate.
Its alright shep, I am too.
