For a while, i’ve thought this site might be useful. Sure, some of it can get repetitive, but it’s good for people to hear themselves, and get a candid response, not matter how juvenile. Now, I’m mot so sure.
I know wonder if it is monitored by some victimy-undergratuates looking to validate their projections. I spent a couple of hours last night responding to someone. It was my hope this individual might get a chance to read it when they awoke in their time zone.To me it was genuine and heart felt and did not contain *any* of the heated abusiveness that I’ve read elsewhere on this site (which is substantial).
But, perhaps abbreviating a cuss word is enough to inflame someone’s victorian collar, as would be using dashes. The fact that it was long, took time to compose, had time value, or could have value made little difference is irrelevant. The ego of the OP is what is important. And they may be w-a-y too inexperienced or self aware to to care about anything other than an opportunity to posture. If you have been to any professional, you probably understand.
Perhaps there was a reason that my cocktail fell short last night, but at least you now know the fraudulent nature of this site. So go ahead and express yourself, just run it through a spell checker and grammar checker first, and for goodness sake, don’t give the OP a chance for alarm! Instead, leave room for a few vapid strokes so they can validate themselves. After all, it’s not like just anyone can get a pyshe degree. (Some have to resort to English or sociology.)
Good luck with your efforts’. But reconsider this site. Your story could be the hopeful springboard for someone’s thesis.

OP and admins can delete comments but I don’t think that the admins often do that. I’ve only seen them deleting some offensive out of place posts.
What happened to the response? Did it get sucked into the vacuum of the spam filter? If so, that happens from time to time if you hit on some ambiguous and ill-defined “bad wording” that the filter doesn’t like – the staff most likely has little control over how the filter operates, but the author of a post can still approve a comment if they notice it got sent to a pending folder.
Why is it so important for some random stranger to read your special comments? When someone deletes my comment I just ignore all their subsequent posts.
There are still paces on the internet like alt. suicide that are similar to how this place used to be. If you are serious about suicide then this isn’t the place for you.
I’m thinking along Duke’s lines. Your comment was such a panacea for the OP that it was imperative that they read it as soon as they could?
Pull your head in. Wordpress filters stuff as spam all the time. All you’ve done with this post is show us all how much you enjoy being a victim.
This post was by long time user TBD … and yes – it got swept into the spam filter … it can be read/retrieved from the comments page by clicking the spam tag/link/filter … it was most likely dumped due to the addition of a hyperlink likely flagged automatically – copy the original comment, edit out the offending link and repost and it should be fine.

@dawg: You mean it’s not an academic conspiracy to steal our brainz? I was getting worried there for a minute.
In one or two cases, I put a lot of time into info that (1) I hope is helpful, (2) may make a small difference, (3) may contain info hard for another to fine. And yes, I’m pathetic and egotistical enough to find a tiny measure of meaning in trying to help someone else. Especially on the darker days. It doesn’t mean I’m yoda, or Everything is deep. One time I was hoping the person would find just one thing of value in it the next morning .
Its just that they used to post right away, and I could tell it had worked. If I had done something really offensive, I’d rather know it. It’s not my intent to make things worse.
I think it may have been the length or pasting it in the window. Geez.
