suicide should be an option if you have absolutely no answers or other viable options for your situation. I don’t care about “justifying” it to people, that guilt trip only lasts so long. How do they justify trying to keep someone alive that doesn’t want to be nor feel they have a reason to be? they says the suicide people are selfish well I agree it is very selfish that they want someone to be miserable every freaking day just so they don’t have to suffer themselves. everybody wants to say ‘oh don’t do it!’ yet they have no answers on how to actually fix anything, so to hell with them.

It’s so weird. I come to this site when I’m low, fully relating to ending it, and I end up wanting to deter others.
It’s hard to deny that there is a lot of discouraging things going on in the world. Just because we don’t see a viable solution does not mean that one will not exist at some point. We just can’t all see around the corner. But if we have a habit of seeing just the bad, its hard to see and appreciate what isn’t. If we can work on focusing on what is positive, we have a chance of changing our perspective, which can open other doors.
I agree that it is selfish to demand that others suffer for us, but blissful nothingness might not await us. We may have to be reincarnated, and it might be a bummed to repeat the class.
Exactly what happens to me,too, when I get on SP. Like-I almost immediately become more stable emotionally and support and suggest options to others..Thats the beauty of this place..you reach out,and in doing so you yourself are uplifted or at least having meaningful contact..Never fails to amaze me how I can instinctively respond and talk about solutions with others, but cannot practice the solutions in my own damn life..anyway,this place helps people (and me) to cope for sure
