You know that saying, in the end no one dies a virgin because life fucks us all? Well, why don’t we think of it this way, in the end, your not really that important to human life like thomas edison or albert einstein, we are just parasites clinging to the crest of the earth trying to live, and yet, we still try to be someone we’re not, we try to be one of those popular people even though we like nothing the other popular people like, we try to make our mark on the world even though we don’t even know how. So, think of it this way, it doesn’t matter what you look like, or what you’re wearing, or even what you act like because in the end, in the end we need to know that we are unique individuals and there is someone out there for you, and only you to love with all your heart. Because in the end you are you, and I am me.

What you’ve posted is essentially true. It seems like very few people these days can accept who they really are and most prefer to fight their entire lives to be someone or something they are not. In the world of work it’s called “fake it ’till you make it.” And people that are deeply rooted in that way of life disgust me.
I see it this way – life is like the system of belts and pulleys on an engine. And acceptance keeps everything accurately aligned and operating smoothly. But misrepresenting oneself or pretending to be what you are not results in a misalignment that creates friction and destructive forces. Ultimately they live without a conscience as a narcissist or a sociopath which results in those destructive forces being distributed among those around them or they absorb them in the form of depression, anxiety or other forms of discontent.
This is not to say we should be complacent about ourselves – we can certainly learn, change and improve. But when people endeavor to manipulate others into believing they are something other than what they really are rather than striving to achieve personal goals or abilities through legitimately learning and growing, it results in negative energies and influences over themselves or others.
It’s really too bad that honesty and integrity are no longer valued. If they were, there would be a lot fewer members here.

I totally agree with you, life is something that shouldn’t be faked, I admit, I did fake who I was once, dut I had a reason to, I was in a really tough time and I needed to reinvent myself, but all in all, i’m happy with who I am. I have finally found who I am and nothing nor no one is going to change that no matter how bad it gets.
