Has anybody seen the movie Winter’s Tale? I just watched it last night and I’m halfway through watching it again right now. For some reason, watching that movie makes me stop wanting to die and all of my desires disappear until the only thing I really want is true love, fairytale style.
Sappy, I know, especially for a 16 year old guy, but I can’t help what I hope for. And for once, I actually don’t mind hoping for love.

Unfortunately I’m too scatter-brained to follow a film all the way through these days. So I tend not to watch anything.
That’s usually the same with me, but Winter’s Tale was so alluring, I couldn’t not watch it.
I’ve just read some mixed reviews about it on IMDb. I tend to trust the bad ones because the positive reviews are usually from cast/crew members.
Try the trailer. That’s what originally got me hooked.

Looks good, I just put it on my netflix list.
Just the imdb plot synopsis gave me a buttery feeling. I’m the same way, AJoke. As much as I have a bitter, hopeless & bleak outlook on life, I guess there’s a hopeless romantic buried deep inside. It’s rare to catch me in the mood for one, but I love a good fairytale that can transport me out of myself for 90 mins.
Another good one is Camille (2008) with Sienna Miller & James Franco. Hard to describe without spoiling the setup, but let’s just say it’s a very interesting, funny, touching supernatural fairytale about a newly married couple’s not-so-perfect honeymoon.

Haha no i totally know what you mean because I am same age thinking the exact same thing. I have all the rest of my life to look forward to and be independant but secretly just want to fall in love, such a shame i am so shy around guys and ya know emotionally unfucking stable plus most guys my age are jerks (no offence;) a girl can dream tho.
None taken. I completely agree with you. Most people are age usually are jerks, which is what makes me sad and hopeless about any possibility of true love happening at this very moment.
