Just wanted to say thanks to all that post and help others. I had the jab at mental health with a typical antipsychotic and the voices have dimmed for the first time in nearly 2years. I am so stoked and happy to see it all dimmed. Please god be it for a long long time. So thankyou for all your support through the hard times. Im in a country lucky enough to have this med. Fingers crossed.

Yay, congratulations!!
If you don’t mind me asking – what is it like when they’re toned down? Are there fewer of them? Are they quieter? Are they more like thoughts now? I’m really curious. 🙂
They’re more like thoughts now that are not entirely my own. But definetly heaps more bearable than loud voices that narrate my whole life. I’ve been so use to loud voices I’m feeling a bit better.
Well a little less suicidal for now will see in the long run but think I may be able to get a life together again soo fingers crossed and prey to god.
So happy for you Schiz’ !!! Wishing you Peace and quiet forever more, best of luck! 🙂
That’s fantastic news schizophrenia222, I’m so pleased for you. I hope the side effects are well tolerated for you. I’m currently taking antipsychotic and antidepressant meds for my bipolar – they do have their uses, though it’s never a perfect solution, but I’m just glad to hear you sounding so much more positive. I know that great sense of relief when it just, stops lol.
