no matter if you commit suicide or die of natural causes in old age, the end result is the same: you will die in the end! Nature is cruel, heartless, and incredibly restrictive. For example, nature says the Ebola virus, which has no good function whatsoever, is more important than a child’s life. To me this is a horrible reality. No wonder people make up gods and believe in an afterlife. I however, do not because I am a man of observation. I can not look truth in the eye and deny it without being delusional and ignorant.
All all we are is meat. Most brains are wired to find value were there is none. We create babies just so they can grow up to die in the end. Life in of itself is a suicide mission. Since the only cause of death is life itself, you can make a rational argument that procreation is murder by proxy.
The only way humans can achieve true value is in some future scenario were all diseases, both mental and physical, are cured, suffering will be a thing of the past though scientific advancements, and we could be immortal in a post scarcity society were our dreams are our own. No work, just play and creativity.
As of now, we are slaves to the laws of nature. Do you think you are free? We are in America right? We are a “free” country. In reality, true freedom is unattainable because no matter what we do in life, the nihilistic laws of nature will one day become our judge, jury, and executioner.
It astounds me when I watch scientific programs about the earth and some physicist rattles on about how “lucky” we are to be here due to the earths “perfect” place in the solar system. How are we lucky? If we was not born at all we wouldn’t know the difference anyway.
now we get to why I am pro choice when it comes to taking your own life. I believe that everyone has a right to end there lives if they chose to. As for others, if they want to continue on living in this big blue ball of bullshit, then that’s there choice as well.
All humans should have self ownership and a right to opt out of life. After all, none of us choose to be born and we damn sure didn’t choose the cards we have been dealt with.
If someone tries to stop you from committing suicide, despite there good intentions, they are controlling you. They are denying your right to self determination. I OWN YOU is the message I get when I see someone trying to stop people from committing suicide or euthanasia.
Like I said if you choose to commit suicide or not, the end result will be the same. What do you think?

Don’t know the answer but agree that those who wish to end their lives should be sent compassion. Some have a bigger burden to bear and there is no failure in that. Xxx
Thanks. Compassion to me would be total support for any solution I come up with
Sending love. Xxx
oh god, pleasure overload pleasure overload!!!!!! AWESOME POST BRO!! no sarcasm! I’m sitting here laughing at my desk hysterically/maniacally because of how much I agree with everything you wrote. you succinctly summarized the thoughts that have been running through my head all my life. One thing I’d like to say to you though is that you shouldn’t look at the meaningless of it all so negatively.
So what if all we are is meat? For me, that’s an empowering thought; it’s true equality. If we weren’t all just meat, then we might have to worry about men in the sky watching us and devils under our feet. But lucky for us, we’re just walking/talking bags of flesh. Life is so much more enjoyable when you let go of the ideas of good and evil, right and wrong, gay and straight; life is not nearly that complicated. You’re on the right track toward nihilistic enlightenment but you have to let go of how negatively you feel about the reality of the world we live in.
I think it’s fantastic that the ebola virus can kill hundreds of thousands so effortlessly. Nobody deserves anything more than death. Again, true equality. Just because a baby is cute and the parents love it doesn’t mean that it deserves to live more than a bunch of baby birds that are eaten by a snake. Where are the tears for non-humans babies that don’t get to live their full lives? Do you see what I’m saying? This is life my friend, and it is beautiful.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (how you think) sounds like the “own you”, I hear people love life. They cognate differently. Everyone has a war in their blood and “humans” kill, fight and exploit, all natural. The birds and bees the bugs and the trees….. Now go pair off and make the world bigger, better, brighter. Bent over to drink, kill monkey treats or go up a tree for honey in the Amazon, being stung (nature show, “uncivilized”). I got no answers and the questions are getting worse. I an unhappy being in a ecosphere, a food chain, I’m a man, seems the job of being one is one I need, want or just have to avoid, Life is a *sinking ship* and “bailing” has just ruined my hope for anything but aggravation and emotional pain. Can anyone stand far back enough and make sense of it, we all need a hope. I leaving out the technology that will entrap and destroy. Before technology millions were starved to death. Why, God is good, oh yeah, let ’em loose on Earth to find love and service while I let Satan eat everything heart, mind and soul making you beg for me. Some God. How can life be anything but suck, see the rust, dust ad busts. Trespassers will be shoot and everything else will be a slave or left dying in a corner starving, bug bitten, kicked by police and other gangs because all the light, sounds, noises and promises are lending us to emotional, medical and spiritual. A human is born most vulnerable and told he/she can become Jesus like. Life and/or death. Door #2, oh door #2.
I agree and disagree. Nobody should be forced to keep on living because of other peoples wishes. Also, if you look at life from that pov of course it’s meaningless and has no point, and like you say, birth is murder by proxy.
What i don’t agree with is that you do seem to be a bit strong on your ideology and depreciative of others. I can’t deny that i’m more on your side of the view of life, but credit has to be given to the fact that if you look at it coldly, we are lucky indeed. Even if it makes no difference in the end we might have not existed at all, and for some people (not me), its the journey (existing) that counts, not the destination.
You may argue that they have that train of thought because they have been brainwashed by society but, haven’t we all? even nihilism is someone’s interpretation of reality and could be considered useless as well, because we really don’t know were we come from and were we really go to. Sorry for the long post, but what i’m getting at is that even if i consider myself to be part nihilist i don’t disagree with other ways of seeing life, because they do have their merits. I don’t have to tell everybody else that santa doesn’t exist just because i don’t believe in him :D.
Brilliant post. Thank you.
