Thank you for the words, your kindness and for sharing the poem. A heartless *****, I agree. I don’t think I truly have hope that something is going to change, but I know you are right… It’s a long time in the tech and medical world… Who knows. Maybe, just maybe.
You don’t have to feel so nervous.
It’s just a stupid doctor, he’ll just ask you some stupid questions and do his stupid thing.
Doctors are human too, so even if one disappointed you, the next one might find something the other missed. They don’t all work the same.
Either way you’re stuck with the pain, so what is there to lose? Maybe a little time doing a silly test.
You’ll be fine! They might even find what is causing you pain and treat it.
You’re not going to face anything you can’t handle.
You don’t need to run anywhere. You’ll be fine. You’re strong.
Don’t be afraid. I’ve visited a neurologist multiple times and I don’t think it should make anyone feel nervous…of course if you aren’t expecting multiple sclerosis as the diagnosis. But I hope that you do not. But they don’t have drills at least. Drills are scary, heh. Psychiatrists aren’t scary too…they are kind of funny, with their distrustful eyes that watch you and try to read your mind. But they will never do.
Smile. Laugh. It’s the most powerful weapon against depression and general sadness. Watch memes with cats. Try to get that pretty smile on your face.
There is a lot of hope, even if you live in darkness – one day the light will come and you will see it.
Best wishes.
Von
Hi, LightOfHope. I always get nervous because I’ve been to many doctors and they were never able to help me, name my pain or find out what’s wrong with my mind and body.
I’m always smiling though… I feel this is just a mask… But doing that always save me from problems… No one likes frown faces, I guess…
aw! yes i understand scared to live, 🙂 really does make sence, the unknown, not much you can do about it, but take a deep breath and carry on, try to remmeber that bad things are going to happen they are suppose too! but not every minute 🙂 think about good things too! you deserve that as well, we need to balance it all out.
@rocketman I really needed to read that today, no joke. I’ve been feeling so lost lately. I’m trying to think about good things and survive. thank you so so much.
Tristeza,
your welcome 🙂 i would like for all of us including myself to live with some relief from depression, it’s a monster and will devoure you if you let it take over compleetly, we need to create fun things positive things to take are minds of it, in short WE NEED TO GIVE OURSELFS A BREAK! I like to cook that makes me happy tonight spaghetti! and garlic toast! also i have three cats, i have one of those lazor lights! ha ha! i have them running all over the place! very funny! not only am i having fun and forgetting my probems for a while but they would be bored and depressed if i didn’t 🙂 so i’m making their little lifes happy too!
@rocketman I don’t like to cook, but I love food, hehe. Especially garlicky food. Also, I absolutely love cats and I’m totally sure that I’d feel a lot better if I had one, but I can’t own pets here where I live. I can’t wait to move out, get a place to live and adopt a cat. I’m sure I’d give him or her a lot of love and be loved back too. About giving myself a break — I really, really need to learn how to do that so I can help me save myself, you know? I demand a LOT from myself and I’m a bit of a perfectionist in everything I do, which sucks because I know how bad I am atm, not only emotionally, but also physically. I’m glad you treat your cats right and make their lives happy, that’s truly awesome (:
There you go! MAKING ME FEEL BETTER! Did you realize you just made my night? Thank you! from what you wrote we have alot in common, i’m like that too but!!!! being a perfectionist all the time is rough! hey you need play time!!! you need to laugh you need to do somethings so badly that you laugh at yourself till you cry! you need to smell the flowers and enjoy the aroma! one of my best tricks is making a joke out of myself making people laugh in a serious situation, making them realise that life to short to be that serious all the time, i’m a manager and we have serious meetings everyday, everyone is so serious it’s like a morge, i’ll all the sudden start dancing like doing the moon walk! they tell me to stop it! but really they look forward to what the hell is he going to do today, they grin when it’s time for me to report, it’s loosens them up too! isn’t that what we want? to smile and laugh a little? don’t be hard on yourself 100% of the time.
You’re welcome, I’m glad I cheered you up too hehe. I’d definitely moonwalk if I could but my health isn’t always that great lol. But I would if I could, I’ve always thought that moonwalking is super cool. I’m always making silly jokes and I definitely try to be light hearted whenerver possible. Honestly I think that’s one of my greatest personality traits (but that hides my very self conscious and perfectionist mind). Hopefully I’ll be able to forget that I wear a mask and I’ll make it my real face someday; xx

Thank you so much for helping me yesterday.. x
Hope, thou art a heartless *****
You pretend to show the way,
and end up leading me astray
You pretend to be my friend
but only cheat me in the end
You make me reach for the sky
then leave me wanting to die
And you know in the end,
I’ll still follow you again. 🙁
Hope thou art a heartless *****!
(Big hug, M. 6 yrs is a long time in the tech/medical world. Maybe it will be different this time.)
