Okay so here’s the thing, those of you who have read my posts before know that I’m against what mankind is making out of our earth and all the new machinery/technology that is being created. I’m a tree huggin-ground loving hippie, if you will. But, the more I’m in the city the more my hatred grows. The more I wish for some miracle to happen where it breaks down and destroys every bridge, building, house, tower anything. I don’t even want to walk outside my door anymore. Fuck I miss the country so bad you have no idea. (Random thing kinda) As I was laying there I thought more and more about it and what popped up in my head is ‘is it America that I’m absolutely disgusted by, is it just plain humans that I’m disgusted by or is it America that’s made me disgusted by humans?’ I have yet to figure this out. But I have no idea how to cope with the fact that man is building everyday, something that will begin to absorb our very beings. I have never felt such hatred for simply things everyday. I have yet to embrace the fact that we will no longer accept and appreciate what the earth is to us. Everyday we destroy the land my ancestors and yours walked years, decades, centuries before us. Not far from my house they’re cutting down trees and digging up roots to BUILD. TO FUCKING BUILD. As if they dont already HAVE plenty enough buildings crowding every fuckint street and corner. I can’t stand to watch it all happen like this I feel useless.

I’m not as disgusted by it but I do see where you’re coming from. I’m accustomed to being in a place where there’s a mix of town and countryside, and when I’m in a city it feels a little unnatural or fake sometimes. That feeling usually goes away though. Sometimes it feels more real, because of all the people.
It’s sad that people not only neglect nature but are slowly possibly destroying it even for ourselves to be able to live in. And people aren’t programmed to live in buildings all day. We live in a very curious time. I’d be interested to see a few hundred years into the future.
100% agree. It’s greed and ignorance, basically. I live in a concrete desert (I won’t even dignify it by calling it a jungle).
The only solution I can see atm is to buy back land and rewild it.
I hate cars, I hate roads, I hate the fact that we were given this beautiful earth and somehow gave away our power to frauds and charlatans who are destroying it.
The prime example is FIFA. Sepp Blatter and his cronies have gotten rich off the sacrifice of thousands of dirt-poor workers erecting stadiums for a stupid soccer tournament that lasts all of a month. Don’t get me wrong, I love the sport and watching it, but I want to throw up.
I’ll take the blasted sterillity of urban environments over Lyme disease. But that’s my kink.
Currently all the deer keep eating my Dad’s tomatoes. Can’t stand ’em.
It’s overpopulation that makes cities so large. Move back to the country while it’s still there. Enjoy trees and night sounds and sunsets. Enjoy it to the max.
