There are things we all one, but one way to guarantee that you won’t get them, is to sit there and do nothing about it. That includes suicide. If you want to end your life it’s going to require some effort on your part (not that I’m condoning it).
Though I bet like me, you don’t really want to die, you want your life to be better-if it can get better. Regardless of what you decide-you will need to be proactive about it.
I think about suicide on a daily basis-a few times I very seriously considered it, which made me almost sick to my stomach, just thinking of trying to pull it off. Then I thought about changing my life instead and felt better. It also felt like an easier goal to attain. Besides life can be great if you have your health, decent income and free time to socialize/travel, etc.
In my case I plan to make some major changes in my life to get the good things I want from it. There will no doubt come a day where I will have felt I’ve tried everything and finally had enough. That will be the point I’ll plan and carry out my death. But I still think that’s a few years away at the very least. But who knows, life could take a nasty turn and I might want to end it sooner. But for now I’m just going to keep trying to live better.

*things we all want (not ‘one)
This isn’t even my post, but thank you for writing that response. Just know that you helped one person get through their day today.
My grandfather once yelled at me though the bathroom door: shit or get off the pot! I yelled back: in what time frame?
People seem to forget that we are equally defined by the things we do not do. Practice not dying enough and it becomes a habit!
