Society’s obsession with good looks and sexual attractiveness is absurd. Watching all these “cute” Celebs makes feel so insignificant and plummets my self esteem. Makes me think about my worthlessness and how mentally fucked up and ugly I really am.
I promise you looks aren’t everything I look like shit but I work my ass off when I can some people are attracted to hard workers and there will always be someone more attractive so there’s more beneath the skin you just have to find it
I always get that feeling too. Like they were saying “I’m much prettier than you”. It hurts, but remember there is no such thing as ugly. It might seem weird but.. You’re only one of you. Be proud and answer them back: I’m just as pretty as you are!
Sometimes it hits me really hard, comparing myself to other women and feeling like a gargoyle. Truth is, there will always be someone prettier no matter what. Just do the best with what you have. Stay in shape, wear makeup, nice clothes, keep up with your hair. That’s all you can do. Be the best you that you can be.
You shouldn’t compare yourself to others or else you’ll start to think you have flaws when you don’t and trust me I’ll take someone nice over a ***** any day of the week being a good person has so much more to offer than being what you think is attractive
This is true. No one should compare themselves to others, it just hits me hard sometimes and I snap out of it. We’re all unique and beautiful in our own way. The right person will always appreciate exactly how you are, inside and out.
I can’t stress enough how much i agree with the “i’ll take someone nice over a ***** any day of the week”. Attitude and personality are huge deal breakers for me. I don’t care if the girl in front of me is a supermodel, if she behaves nastily i won’t stand her just because she’s supposedly good looking by some made up standards that change every few years.
I agree with you completely. I always go for personality, as well. For me I think about it like this: once you die or age, you’ll turn uglier, but your personality and accomplishments will never change with time (hopefully)

Because it’s true.
