It’s true that for some people having a dream is wonderful. Pursuing that dream is the “vital support” that gives them the will to continue on, that gives them the strength to keep getting better and better, and with each day that goes on, they get closer to fulfilling it.
But what if you’re just not meant to fulfill that dream?… What if for whatever reason you simply don’t have the motivation to go on? What if something out of nowhere just holds you from fulfilling it?
Call it whatever you want to call it. Luck. Fate. I don’t believe in any of those things, but every time I set my vision on to something, an obstacle gets in my way. An obstacle that I can’t conquer because it generates from something I can’t control. Every. Single. Time.
Call it intuition, but somehow every time that something wonderful could happen to me, I know that something will eventually get in the way. And it happens, sooner or later. So, am I destined to always fail in everything? Is that why I’m meant to be here? To live for others, wishing being someone else, and unable to enjoy my own life? …

So far it seems that your dream is not at your reach, but like they say: there are only two tragedies in life, not having what you want and having it (Oscar Wild ¿? Or someone like that ¿?).
But by not having what you want at least means you have a dream, and as you said, that’s one of the greatest engines there are.
Life is weird, you never know.
No matter how good or long things will be going, there will always come a time where life will bend you over and show you who’s really in charge. It happens every time to me. just when you think that you won’t have to deal with your old problems, they’ll pop back up like a whack-a-mole game in a theme-park. My question is that if you really want to achieve something great, then will it really be an easy task to achieve without difficulty? Look at the man who spent decades carving a path through a mountain so people had an easier path to the hospital in the next village. His obstacle was miles high and wide. Yet he never let it best him, no matter the size.
That being said, I can relate to you big time. I’m not saying overcoming any obstacle is by any means simple (In fact, it’s a whole lot easier just to tell others not to give up on their vision :3), but you just have to find motivation to overcome whatever obstacle stands there. Be it having someone harp you until you solve the issue, talking a few moments to reflect, or even rewarding yourself with an ice cream cone. Find what works, no matter how long it might take. After all, patience is a virtue. Hell, maybe even I’ll find patience someday.
Maybe all the people here are part of something bigger. Maybe the reason we fail and have no motivation is our course in the world.
