I’ve been researching near death experiences, reading about afterlife, and have had my own personal dreams that seem to show there is continuation of life.
The NDE experiences along with other “experiencers” seem to suggest that the afterlife is tailored to what we feel or believe in our minds. But fir the most part it’s supposed to be positive.
I believe there is an afterlife, it wouldn’t make sense to think there isn’t something after this life as theres too much evidence to support that spirits exist, and these aren’t just spirits that a random people, we know that the people we love go somewhere because they come and let us know that they are okay. I believe there is no heaven and hell, i think there is just another as you put it ‘continuation of life’ and it is spectacular and painless.
I dunno, there’s no evidence of anything to be honest….No one’s came back and told me they’re ok that’s for sure. Wish they fucking had, that would be nice.
But describe how you think it will look and how it will be please lilxtina. Since you have done so much research I’m really curious to know your perspective on it.
In the afterlife we are able to do all the things we wanted to do here that we couldn’t. There is no currency, everything people do in the afterlife is out of love, if you wanted to be an architect, you can be one and design homes for people, if you wanted to take care of animals, you can take care of animals that had no love in this life. Animals can communicate through telepathy and you can talk with your thoughts to others. You can think of a place and be there in an instant (with practice). There are great cities, universities which teach about philosophy and the true wisdom that we are not taught here, as well as how to control your abilities (that we have always had, we just never knew). There is no sun, but always a pleasant warmth, never rain but sometimes a light dew. There is no death or illness (obviously) and because bacteria and sickness is what ages us, in the afterlife you stop ageing at your mid to late 20s. Shakespeare is still writing plays and Oscar Wilde is still writing poetry. There is no need to have flowers inside, because they grow so beautifully and full of life in your garden. There are hospitals, but not the kind we have, hospitals that help people with the transition, mainly people who have had no family, or perhaps a stillbirth can have an easier transition. If you never had children, you can raise them in the afterlife, children who die at birth can grow and watch over their family while learning all there is to know in the afterlife. There is so much more to learn.
Thank You for explaining lilxtina that’s what I’ve read about the afterlife being like too. I wonder what it will look like, do you know and if so can you please describe it?
I can’t wait to see my loved ones too. Have you ever had any communication from a loved one who has passed?
It looks just like here π minus the cars and machinery, minus the dangers of extreme cold and heat and all the things that make this life so hard to deal with. There are different ‘Spheres’ as they call it, which depending on your level of consciousness you can be apart of. We are more in touch with the Sphere that give us contact with spirits who are in pain, or ‘earthbound’, they cant seem to let go of this life. Hence we have bad experiences with them, scaring us or manipulating us. There are spirits on higher spheres that help those spirits move on. Id like to be more descriptive for you on what exactly it looks like, but I have never seen it myself, just read about it. You can read about it too in ‘Life after death by Neville Randall’, it changed my life, and free to read online if you google it.
In 1998 my grandfather died, and he came to me in a dream, a dream i remember so vividly. he gave me some advice, saying i needed to be nicer to people, i was 8 at the time, i didn’t really know much about what he meant. Last week the love of my life passed away, unexpectedly and I want to be with him more than anything. I will be, just planning it out. He hasnt come to me yet, mainly i think its because of my grief, Im sure he loves me and as soon as i calm he will come to let me know that he does. I think he has already tried to contact but i have been too blind in my sorrows to really notice.
You are super lucky to receive contact, I think that he has contacted me but I am not completely sure. I am super excited as well ! I am in no case going to miss this life. You seem like a person who shares the same views and experiences as me, how can we continue talking?
lucky for you, hell is just a control mechanism and doesn’t actually exist. I mean think about it for a second, if you have been bad all your life, or broken one of the ten commandments, why would lucifer punish you? I mean you have been against god your whole life ! you are one of his mates ! he isn’t going to punish you, he will reward you for being a sinner. If what the church say is true then really lucifer is working WITH god, and not against.
Nothing happens, we die, total blackness in the void, and completely utter true peace.
Some years later the meatbag we left behind decomposes completely, but we wont know, feel or care about that fleshsuit husk we left, or nothing at all for that matter, ever again. We rest in silence eternal velvet peace of “nothingness”
That is exactly my opinion. I dont even understand how people can search about this thing. It is like they talk to died people? And what about near death experiences? Either you are dead or alive. No one could be in the midle of it
I recommend you read “life after death by Neville Randall” you can download it for free online by just searching in google, id put the link here, but for some reason the SP admin don’t like it. Oh and I think it’ll look like a big Christmas wonderland with snow falling and each of us will get to go into our own Christmas decorated house and be with people we love and who love us and sleigh riding and presents and everything perfect
Probably not Christmas because technically thats a religious celebration (although today we don’t make it out to be). Apparently the spirits who have the hardest time to move on to the next life are the most devote religious people. I feel almost bad for them, because some are so stuck on the idea that there is heaven and hell and you cant do anything bad, cant even end your own life because you’ll go to hell (which far from exists) your more likely to get hit in the face with a big mac then to go to hell. Religions were developed to control and manipulate.
Hey woody, saw your comment above about there being no evidence, I recommend you read βlife after death by Neville Randallβ you can download it for free online by just searching in google, id put the link here, but for some reason the SP admin donβt like it. Also research Leslie Flint. Youβll be surprised at what you find. changed my life forever. Never ever will i be afraid to die. Death is a beautiful thing and you’ll see once you read it.
Everything happens after we die … it’s like the party of the century … and we (the dead) are not invited π

Hey Dawg, there totally is evidence, I recommend you read βlife after death by Neville Randallβ you can download it for free online by just searching in google, id put the link here, but for some reason the SP admin donβt like it. it changed my life forever, honestly, a wake up call and a reminder that there is life after this, and we don’t have to be afraid to go. we are totally invited to the party, and when we go, the party will be to celebrate our awakening.
You don’t need to be sorry for being intoxicated, its not a bad idea, if you were here i would have a drink with you, i might grab one now and we can drink together in cyber space. You are going to be so surprised when you see that there is an afterlife, i know for sure there is, too much evidence to support there is something else.
You can’t believe everything you hear or everything you read. People have been telling stories for as long as people have been around, and not every one has been telling factual, truthful accounts that can be confirmed as true.
Instead, people often disguise opinions and/or wishful thinking as “truth”. A strongly held belief is not necessarily true; a truth needs to be confirmed as such with credible evidence. “Believing” you know something doesn’t mean that you do unless you’re able to prove it. Knowledge and belief are two different entities, and stories without credible evidence to support the claims made do not count as proof of the truth.
That’s ok. You’re welcome to believe in an after-life, leprechauns, the tooth fairy and unicorns if doing so provides you with comfort. Faith has made life meaningful for billions of people throughout human history, and I guess a lot of people still need that.
Thank you Morris, I understand exactly what you are saying and I appreciate it, but there is evidence. 500 recordings of evidence of accounts of spirits talking through a medium (Leslie Flint – one of the most famous mediums) about what happens after we die, people like Oscar Wilde, Rudolph Valentino, Queen Victoria, her personal medium John brown and many many more have come through. These recordings were conducted through seances with Betty Greene and George Woods, two people who dedicated their lives to finding out the truth of what happens after we die. I understand its hard to believe, but if evidence is what you are looking for, then here it is. Go to the website http://www.leslieflint (.com)

Sry to burst your bubble, but Flint is a known and proven fraud, “mediums” have always had their seasons/”periods” in time through the ages
Doesnt mean you shouldnt believe in anything/something though, many other “words” still exists and is told that people have positive faith relations with, and thats okay, people should believe in something positive to them and having an open mind is not bad.
But really wouldnt use Flint as an explanation or source any less than John edward
Just wondering, what’s the point of asking people what they think if you just end up directing them to what you believe is true? lol. Not saying this to attack you or to fight, but it just struck my curiosity.
Because people asked what I believe, I dont want to change anyone, they can believe what they want to believe. Its interesting to see what people believe though, who really knows whats true anyway.
Yeah, i guess nobody really knows until they’re there, that’s why i guess it’s better to just hope for the best, we’re all going there eventually. Thanks for answering and for not taking it the wrong way π
I don’t know about that. I did believe that there was something in the after life but not what you wrote. Even though the sp of yours has gotten stuck in my mind and it is disturbing in the way I want to handle my exit I still am not going to change my mine and I certainly will not believe this no offense but you seem sweet nothing less. I don’t know you here and I don’t know who in the picture of your Avatar that I am talking to but it does seems very peaceful as highly peaceful in which I never in my life had experienced with anyone but all in all thx for this sp now days I barley have strength to do anything ahhh
A belief is often a choice, a decision we make that lines up with what we hope will happen.
What we hope will happen isn’t necessarily what happens though, (unless you’re the protagonist in a “happily ever after” movie).
Life isn’t a movie where everything works out for the hero in the end. Sometimes the movie just ends and everyone dies. π That’s nothing to be sad about, sometimes things don’t work out according to plan.
Yeah, sometimes I’ve wondered about that. . . Life HERE is what we make it. . . Perhaps life here with all its lessons and trials forms what comes next.
Boy, no controversy here! I’m with the ” none of us knows till we go” crowd. Seems only logical to me. I lean towards souls/spirits moving on to something else, though. Heaven and Hell? Supposition. I no longer fear the wrath of a vengeful god, and that’s lightened the load a lot for me personally. Religion is such toxic garbage! As for what, if anything, we move on to, no clue. Maybe it’s a return to a source where all there is is energy. Maybe maybe maybe.
That’s exactly what physicists are starting to say. That energy cannot be destroyed so we definitely continue in some way. And Chip what you said about our experiences here effecting our future life there is true too most likely because through it all, who we end up being, is what we take with us. That’s it.
And again, we don’t know for sure either way if we continue or if we don’t. But if we do, that’s all we take with us. Our true selves
In the other newer post about what happens after death, SeeSmith said that when the brain dies, the ego dies as well, so whatever happens afterwards is irrelevant. Smart man.
Wow, that’s cool, no brain, no ego, no matter. I like that. And 1Fineday, kind of fits with taking only our true selves along – Spirit/Soul detached from brain and ego leaving an emotionless purified energy form to just BE. If I knew for certain that’s what awaits, I’d go right now.
Dunno if telling people to stay is helpful, Depends if they really wanna stay or not or they want help or not, my motto now is let people leave if they want to and god speed and good luck.
I’m okay with what you say, 1 Fineday. It makes sense. I think about “going” so many times a day, for YEARS now, and am still here. Reading people’s opinions and thoughts here at SP is very interesting. I may go, I may not. Same with everyone here. We may get hit by a bus tomorrow, and it all becomes irrelevant. The magic, for me, lies in having that choice. Ultimately, it’s mine, it’s yours, it’s Woodys, and if the time comes, noone can take it away from us.
All we know for certain is that no person alive today knows what happens when we die. If they claim to know, then they’re lying. No one who has died has ever returned because this is scientifically impossible and only gullible people would fall for such nonsense.
However we can deduce from some scientific assumptions that a mind/consciousness cannot exist without a brain. When the brain dies so does the mind-which means everything you think, know, feel, sense, etc dies when your brain dies. So you go back to the same nothingness from where we emerged.
That is once we die that’s it, there is no “souls” leaving the body. These were silly, unscientific notions that came from the Bronze Age. If there were such a thing as spirits, scientists, not theologians would be the first to tell you. Belief/Faith is not science-it is nothing more than superstition and wishful thinking-failed ideas from the infancy of human civilization.
In short, when we die we cease to exist, much like a dreamless sleep and I think that’s why many of us seek out death because we know that it’ll be a better ‘place’ than where we are now.
Day2day, I hope your theory is right. I would much rather just not be. It is a 50/50 chance. Either there is something after, or not. I’d rather just be done, FOREVER.
@the Forgotten,
I put another response on your post. I see you are determined. I answered your question as best I could. It would’ve been nice to get to know you. For the most part, we’re a friendly crowd.

Hi Chip, But we don’t know for sure, so stay
Dunno if telling people to stay is helpful, Depends if they really wanna stay or not or they want help or not, my motto now is let people leave if they want to and god speed and good luck.
Hi Woody
I understand that
I guess I just wpukdnt want to influence anyone negatively even though I know it’s hypocritical of me
I’m okay with what you say, 1 Fineday.
Very true Chip, a perfect end to this post thank you
All we know for certain is that no person alive today knows what happens when we die.
And I’m not taking about NDE…I mean people who were fully dead/buried/cremated, never returned, in case anyone wanted to bring up NDE.
I dont know but soon I will know. I am writing my letters now to my friends.
Day2day, I hope your theory is right. I would much rather just not be. It is a 50/50 chance. Either there is something after, or not. I’d rather just be done, FOREVER.
@the Forgotten,
I put another response on your post. I see you are determined. I answered your question as best I could. It would’ve been nice to get to know you. For the most part, we’re a friendly crowd.
