Has anyone tried going out using over-the-counter drugs, specifically in the acetaminophen category? (I won’t give specific brand medication examples to prevent my post being taken down). Did it hurt or did you just go unconscious? How did you feel? Did you have organ damage? Were you hospitalized? I want to know what happened but most of all, I want to know if it HURT?

Overdosing is the least effective way to commit suicide. You are just going to throw up most of it and probably cause an organ to damage. Don’t waste your time
Organ failure is a slow painful death
They make it look so easy and effective in the movies. This is unfortunate, but thank you for your advice.
I’ve heard organ failure is one of the most painful ways to go, sister. And no, it probably won’t work anyway. My advice? Acquire a massive amount of bravery and a gun. But hopefully it doesn’t come to that… I know it doesn’t help, but I hope your situation improves.
I’m not American so I cannot buy guns like candy. But thanks.
Oh… that’s unfortunate for you. Sorry for making the assumption that guns were available in your country… but are they really, like, not allowed at all? That seems unlikely. If so, you could always, you know, go on the deep web and buy a Makarov from a Russo-Serbian transvestite named Chekhov. 😀 (just trying to cheer you up)
This might shock you but most governments don’t want their citizens to run around killing each other (like the Americans do), so no, civilians are not allowed to own guns without a special permit, and with good reason! Plus, I wouldn’t even know how to hold and shoot one anyway. Especially if I’m shooting myself, I know that the curl-back can be intense and it is imperative to keep your hand steady when aiming at your own head lest you miss and cause some serious damage to yourself!
Yeah, I get it. Do you assume I support guns being so readily available for the citizenry? I don’t. I’m not a friggin’ republican… but in reality two thirds of gun deaths in america are actually suicides, while the remaining 10,000 or so deaths are actual criminal homicides or justifiable homicides (you never know if someone was simply defending themselves). That’s still a high number.
There are no OTC cocktails that work. The Rx ones that do work have a specific affect on the body and there is no OTC equivalent.
If you do serious research, you will be surprised by what is available. Most people have no clue. I cannot elaborate without breaking the rules. Just don’t make things worse for yourself by trying something like acetaminophen.

Hi, thank you so much for your response. However, I’ve read online that a specific cocktail of two over-the-counter meds is lethal. I was just wondering if it would be painful, not if it would be effective. Can you please email me at Bridgetscorpius@gmal.com so that you can elaborate on what’s available, and so I can tell you which two specific acetaminophen drugs are reported to be a lethal combo?
I’m very sorry, but I’m not willing to risk sharing this info with anyone. However, I can tell you that info on meds is the easiest to find (both what will and won’t work).
I decided to look up what you are talking about in this post. This still involves an illegal drug that has been implicated in a lot of OD deaths, so it isn’t really an OTC cocktail. Death via OTC is usually in stages, painful, and unreliable (as others have said).
I truly wish you the best, whatever you finally decide to do.
This so called information that is “so easy to find” is exactly what I thought I had found but you are now saying won’t work! And I don’t know what you think you looked up, but both otc meds I am referring to can be bought without a prescription! Thanks for nothing.
Hey, MV, how’s it going? Didn’t you get into a car crash a short while back?
It may not have been you, my memory is poor… if it’s not you, sorry.
It was me. I’m okay, thank you for asking. 🙂 I replaced the car.
Oh, and I understand the memory problems! Some days are better than others.
Yes, my mind is deteriorating. That is part of my problem. I believe you also said this was happening to you too.
Don’t you wish we could so easily replace our bodies (or minds) as replacing a car? 😛
eternaldarkness, that would be great!
IWP, I don’t know if I literally have a cognitive problem, or it is just the fatigue and that it all starts to decline in middle age.
At 13 yrs old I downed a bottle of Tylenol, half a bottle of aspirin, and some wine. Thought at the time that it would create a sort of “bomb” inside of me that would stop my heart. Went to sleep thinking that it was finally over. No such luck. Woke up the next morning with ringing in my ears so loud that I could not understand a word my mother was saying to me. Stayed home from school for 3 days claiming that I was sick. Ringing died down somewhat, but has never completely gone away. Annoying as hell…I have to have a noise maker going in my room if I want to get any sleep. I was lucky enough to escape liver damage, though (I’ve had numerous blood tests done in the years that followed)….woohoo. Won’t be trying anything like that EVER again.
Thank you for sharing. I’m sorry you felt so depressed at such a young age! I guess I’ll just have to find another method.
