The deepest feeling of loneliness

I’m sorry for your loneliness and sadness.
Friends are not always reliable. Honestly, if someone called me in the middle of the night, I wouldn’t be answering either. That’s because my phone is usually on airplane mode. Don’t take it personally.
You can journal your thoughts or speak them out loud and ask for help. It’s OK to ask for help. It’s OK to love yourself. It’s OK to forgive yourself. It’s OK to receive the help that you need. We all need help. I know I need all the help I can get! I have struggled with depression in my life, often. For me, I have found that staying in the right frame of mind takes a lot of practice. There are so many things each day that can. derail my thoughts and take me from a good mood to a bad mood, rather quickly. Sometimes all it takes is driving in rush hour traffic or having to wait too long in a line. The thing is, we decide whether we stay in that negative frame of mind or not. Sometimes we just want to stay there and sometimes it’s good to just feel what it is deep down in us.
How does it feel when you are sad or lonely and you call a friend and they do answer? Does it feel instantly better to talk to someone? Some of us like reaching out to others when we’re sad and some of us don’t. For myself, I tend to draw inward. The people who know me best, know that when I am too quiet I have a lot on my mind. I have found that speaking my feelings out loud so that my brain can actually hear my words, has a lot of power. Even if you don’t have a friend on the other end of the phone listening. Your words are still being heard.
You might have a moment of clarity!
Like, for instance, did you ever have a conversation with a friend and something you were asking suddenly became so clear to you? It has so much to do with saying your words out loud.
Another thing is, and this is the hard part, getting down to the bottom of it. We all have those nagging things that get to us and if we let too many nagging things pile up, pretty soon we are a wreck. We can’t let those nagging things accumulate.
This is where writing things down really helps. Make notes about the things that are bothering you. List them out one by one and start seeking help. We have every resource at our fingertips online.
I am guilty of not making myself as important as I should. Sometimes I try to please everyone else around me so much that I almost feel guilty by giving myself time that I need to be alone to focus on me and work things out.
It’s not a healthy view of myself that I want to continue having, and so I keep trying. Prayer, for me is very important.
One thing I’ve not always been good at and still sometimes struggle with is being a good listener. We all have hard things to go through in life. Connecting with others who share struggles can be helpful when it leads to a positive solution.
Look for friends who have overcome some of the things that you struggle with. I think you will have really close bonds. I hope that this makes sense and that it will help you. I wish you all the best!
