After reading one_day’s post the other day about the person on this site going by the name nolentwohundred (37m) having and inappropriate relationship with another member madetofade (15f) I took the time to investigate for myself through their various posts whether or not this allegation had any merit. I must say personally i found the whole thing to be very disturbing on multiple levels. The fact that a 37 year old man is using a suicide forum to spout his personal political,social,religious views in a blatant attempt to try and attract and influence vulnerable (underage) woman is just wrong and possibly even illegal. I applaud one_day for bringing this to our attention. And to other members I encourage you to read for yourself and draw your own conclusions. In my opinion this type of behavior shouldn’t go over looked and shouldn’t be allowed to continue.

If you think the posts on this site are interesting, you should read his blog!!! Sounds like he is a classic paranoid schizophrenic. Most disturbing is how organised he is in his methodology.
I really need to talk.
First, to preface – i have NOT “researched or followed the posts/people referred to on this post other than that I am familiar with one_day and tend to respect her intuition and judgement
but the way this post “lays out the case”, anyone over the age of majority who offers an opinion or facts to anyone of minority regarding pretty much anything, is a predator?!? by the standard above – almost every teacher, clergy or for that matter any adult who talks to any minor is a “danger”.
Well – i take exception to that … i’ve talked to many here – young/old, male/female alike – the way this is framed is done poorly. i won’t doubt your sincerity and concern – but you’ve cast a very broad net that the causal reader may assume that many adult here has nefarious intent … if you have something that truly suggests predatory behavior – say so … but to say that “social, political, religious” views and opinions somehow suggest that someone is a lecherous predator – is – quite frankly – cuckoo witch hunt stuff … if you don’t agree with the guy’s politics and religion – debate it with facts and reason – not with slander that casts a pall over many others who are trying to help some people find a ray of light in a nonsensical world.

@dawg- I refer you to my post which I believe lays out the EVIDENCE posted by minors on this site, not me. I made a great efort to steer away from conjecture. However, if you read his website, Facebook page, blog, he DOES claim to be meeting his ‘followers’ who, according to Facebook statistics (ie going by Facebook profile info, NOT my judgement) are mostly in the 13-17 age bracket.
I knew I would get a lot I defensism for this. But read the all previous posts from madetofade and nolen. it’s paints a pretty clear picture

@one_day – no need to be defensive – my post was no knock on you at all – like i said – i trust your intuition … i took exception to the way jeb frames THIS post – i’m not agreeing or disagreeing with the conclusions either of you may have arrived at – although your word carries weight with me because i respect you … but the way Jab lays it out above HERE – it suggests that any one of us adults here have bad intentions – THAT’s what I’m addressing
@Blackswan – the point was for jeb to warn everyone of this “danger” … the fact that the “draw your own conclusion” line was buried deep near the bottom of the paragraph suggests it was added as a plausible deniability afterthought … like a late night infomercial for weight loss pill that promise to let you eat cake 5 times a day but you’ll lose 50 pounds a day … but in the fine print in tiny letters it says “results may vary’
In short – i’m not “drawing conclusions” one way or the other – and i specifically prefaced the fact that i did not read the rest nor draw conclusions – but notice that I put my qualifier at the beginning – because it IS important to the rest of my post.
my ONLY conclusion – as i stated above – it that the way THIS post is written – Jeb has effectively classified ALL adults here who share ANY opinions with any minors as a predator – period. … and THAT, i think, is Wrong and dangerous

I thought Jeb makes clear at the start of the post that s/he was prompted to ‘investigate themselves whether the allegations had any merit’ and then goes on to describe their feelings. There are no false accusations here. Read nolens posts: he DOES use this site to spout religious political personal views in a blatant attempt to attract followers. Dawg, with all due respect (because I have a lot for you) I urge you to familiarise yourself with the backstory before getting defensive. I also sent you an email 🙂

Jamie, I’ve been through very similar things and the realization that those who we thought loved us were hunting us down is horrifying and stark. Drop a comment on one of my posts and we can talk. I hope you’re feeling okay.
