I always used knives, more painful because the teeth of them pulled at my skin. But no matter how hard I would press they wouldn’t cut very deeply. Now I’m wondering about a razor blade…cutters always use those…but why? Is it easier? it looks like it. No effort to break the skin, to go deep. I’m thinking about going out and buying one and trying it

a good sharp razor will cut well. Personally I like the “tip” best.
BUT – I do not cut deep. If that is your goal, then I will have to defer to others. If your goal is to simply have some control in your life (shrinks like to call it a coping mechanism) – then razors ROCK. Plus you can control them very well and make cool designs (artistic stuff)
Pretty much is the goal yeah, I was never a deep cutter either but idk its just something I’ve been craving, I kind of want to know what it feels like if that makes any sense lol. To be worried I did too much. I quit a year ago but I think its time to play with my demons again, I miss it. But I wanted something easier, easier to hide and easier to use, easier to control. I’m looking forward to going to the store
It bleeds instantly, and if you push abit hard it goes deep and if you use the corner of the blade you can gouge out the cut and that hurts like a ***** but it’s good and there easy to hide where as knives are not
Ok – so your question really is what does it feel like to cut with a razor????
To me – it feels GREAT. It is not pain, it is relief. But I am sure many would argue with me.
