Hello fellow humanoids,
I am new here, this is my first post, feedback is appreciated.
Recently while delving into the depths of internet suicide material, I came accross a few mentions of how suicide is a very selfish way to die. This rather annoyed me as, on the contrary, I find it a very unselfish, noble way to die. Surely one has a right to be selfish with ones own life? Surely it is those who preach this that are being selfish? They ask us to remain trapped in these useless lives, suffering everyday, just so they dont have to deal with our deaths.
I would appreciate any input offered on this subject.

hey… how r u? yes you are right…. if every poor, unlucky people killed themselves then there would be no one left to serve the rich and lucky ones. besides life would be boring for them if they couldnt feel superior to poor ones.. so those rich and pretty ones dont want poor people to suicide
haha, this is exactly the thoughts that go through my head! Ugly people like me have absolutely no right to live in this planet. This is a beautiful planet, made for beautiful people, there is no place for people like me 😛
There’s more to things than just physical outer appearances.
Except when it comes to these it also depends on your taste.
It’s just my own personal opinion i guess, but i don’t really see what’s so ‘beautiful’ about this planet.
Most things people consider pretty seem just like illusions and tricks to me. Especially in nature.
There’s no such thing as a “right to live”.
I guess it all depends on how you look at it and the situation you’re in.
If you’re not responsible for anyone else’s care or such i wouldn’t say it’s selfish.
I think it’s very selfish to do it and tell or act like ur fine. Then out of nowhere be gone and hurt others around u. However, the way the post describes it, it’s a very obvious option, especially today. I speak from pure experience.

absolutely who cares what others think? that’s your choice, the only one that matters is you, but! you do want to make the right choice, so think hard and long, it’s your life and there is no going back.
There is truth to both arguments. It depends on your point of view. The people that truly care about us will face a lot of pain because of our actions. Most of them will never understand why, and even if they did, they wouldn’t accept it. If you’re not inside this world, you can’t truly understand why a person would want to quit life. Because their will to live is intact and strong, they are convinced yours should be too. If only you tried harder to feel a different way. Never mind that it is impossible to do so.
On the other hand, their insistence that we stay alive simply for their benefit is also selfish. Admittedly, it is a factor whenever I think about the end being near. I don’t want to hurt them or anyone else. But what about my never-ending pain? What about my will to live that is not there anymore? What about me?
