House of awkward

Yeah, I’m still around. Don’t want to go back to another week of work. ugh. Well, just musing a lot about the $1.3 Billion powerball. I truly think whoever wins will get killed, most likely by the government because they won’t let some average schmuck walk away with that kind of money! I truly don’t think they would have that much come into contact with someone who’s not already in the 1%. We’re all outsiders, even the everyday yuppies you see out and about. We’re not allowed to have that money.
Anyway, even if I did win the lotto and lived to tell about it, things could be really weird. I have a very opinionated friend who recently became homeless, a friend who’s going nowhere, a friend living in a stressful situation but otherwise in need, and my craziest ex who’s about to be homeless too. It just seems funny I’d end up living with the guy I really want to marry, the kid I’d like to bang, my ex that couldn’t bang me if he wanted to (lol sorry), and a friend who’d surely hate them all. That could be a reality show on MTV. lol

So I’ve spent the weekend working on a video project and as much work as it’s been, I hope to hell it’s good enough as is and for once my creativity and vision is enough. Someone wanted a bunch of pictures they’ve taken throughout the year turned into a big presentation with music and I was told to just pick something for the audio. It’s the best I can do with what I know and what software I’ve got. I’m working in photoshop and powerpoint first then putting elements into premier pro running a pretty complex timeline. I hope my work will be appreciated even though I’m not the best and can’t make shit out of illustrator. -sigh-
