I’m a 28 year old Canadian male and drawing a blank on what to do with the rest of my life. I have a high school diploma, full-time job with 8 years of experience(sorting mail and making photocopies), perfect sized apartment in an upscale neighborhood and got a bargain on rent price, no women/children/pets/infirmed family to worry about except for my 14 year old brother who I tutor 3 times a week. I feel like I’m literally the worst person in the world. I look at myself each day in the mirror and resist the urge to punch my reflection into a bunch of tiny pieces. Nobody really cares about me. Tough week.

It’s like being at sea and seeing a hurricane approaching. Same feeling in the pit of your stomach, the awe at the power of the beast called nature.

Does sadness have an age? Does it mature like wine? Is there a definition for true sadness? I guess sadness is defined within itself. It hurts so much to see what you’re all going through and what you have been through. If I could, I’d take all of your pain on my own shoulders. I’d not survive it but I would rather my own suffering than all of yours. I’m not the crying type of person but this honestly brings tears to my eyes. Especially knowing that I’m useless in helping anyone with their problems. But if anyone wants to share their burden, I’m here.
