We’re born only to die. Everything in between is just filler. There is no god the cosmos were sprung randomly and reality is merely an illusion made by chemicals that interact with our brains. Life is meaningless unless you choose to give it meaning. Society is just a game that we as social primates are hard wired to want to play for survival. But if we’re well beyond the means of just surviving then what are we doing but waiting to die.

Feeling particularly unstable and anxious today.

I’m going nowhere fast, just like always. I feel like a nuclear reactor about to have a meltdown… but i know that for most of the rest of the world, it would barely seem like a puff of smoke.

New to this site, I’m probably a typical suicide-obsessive. Was wondering if anyone else is in this position–having been medicated off and on for years, with the impact of the medications steadily eroding despite multiple changes. I’ve had changes to my prescriptions probably ten times in the last three years, and I suspect that a loss of faith in the power of these drugs–which I had early on, and which contributed to positive change–has sapped them of their main attribute, the placebo effect.
