I kind understand how you feel being shocked at 14 year olds being suicidal I’m 15 and I guess how they get that way is that sometimes just that we have nobody to go to with our feelings and nobody will take us seriously so we suffer in silence and begin to feel depressed and suicidal
The funny thing is, i was “suicidal” when i was young, but pretty much got over it, or at least effectively managed it, for many years.
Now, it’s not that i want to die, but that i fucking hate that death seems to be the only reasonable solution to the endless, relentless suffering i’ve found in adulthood.
I don’t hate myself, i don’t want to die.
I hate this world, and i want the stupid unnecessary bullshit with which people fill this otherwise-beautiful world, to cease to exist, so that i, and others, can actually enjoy our short times in this implausible chance to exist.
But NOPE!
Some things are beyond changing. Many of those things are beyond accepting.
It’s infuriating, to say the least. I so don’t want to be a part of this disgusting world, that i’m forced to consider that perhaps i should just stop trying to hang on to the existence that can’t become what it should be, due to a world filled with problems i can’t solve, and things i can’t change.
These kids think they’re depressed now… wait til they start to see the real world.
absolutely agree clevername, it is this world. This world is too dark of a place, actually I believe no living being should be here. The suffering is endless. It is better not to be born. I started out as a suicidal 4 yr old now I am a suicidal 30yr old. As a sixteen year old I thought life was hell, as a thirty year old life is more hellish than I could have imagined at sixteen.
Yeah but I believe no American really has the right to *****. Even the poorest American has it better than most if the world were not fighting for survival were drowning in greed and surplus. From an objective point life for Americans is fucking annoying at the most. I don’t think I’ve heard of other countries having suicide prevention. Maybe because they understand that letting a few lemmings over a cliff will leave more for everyone else’s shitty life.

The fact is, stating that “1% of the population controls 99% of the wealth” is pretty accurate.
Therefore, 1% of the population has everything they want/need, and perhaps is “drowning in greed and surplus.”
But 1% is hardly “all americans.”
In fact, you should look up poverty and homelessness statistics, and then realize that even those numbers are “fudged” to make them look less bad than they really are. There are plenty of “ghettos” in the US. There are plenty of people who literally cannot access what you seem to assume “all americans” have.
Granted, there are many americans who don’t “get it,” and who do make poor decisions, but it’s usually because they are ill-informed, due to the systems in place designed to keep them that way. Usually it is not a character flaw, but the fact that the system is designed to exploit us all.
There is plenty of violence and plenty of people working unsafe conditions for an insufficient wage, who cannot get health care, who cannot afford healthy food, who cannot avoid the other people in their environment making things harsh for them.
It’s amazing to me that people who have internet access still don’t bother to look up publicly available information to either confirm or dispute their own arbitrary “theories” about life.
You seem rather proud of being young and stupid and wrong.
That’s a common trope, and is one of the main things wrong with this world today. People have heads full of bullshit, and go through life acting on said bullshit, instead of even trying to learn what’s right.
Maybe one day you’ll start to figure it out… and maybe then you’ll have a legitimate reason to post something on a website that focuses on suicide.
But for now… you seem to be proud of being young and stupid, so why are you here? Why not go be young and stupid with all the other underdeveloped people who have no clue yet about life? I’m sure that would be more fun, and a better use of your time.
