I think this is one of the most important unanswered philosophical questions at this time. Are you right now and you in a minute from now identical, apart from whatever experiences you may have made in this minute? This might seem different than most of the posts I make, or everybody else makes for that matter. I recently read something on depression and it mentioned how it’s very difficult to get back to or even remember how you were before your depression. You lose yourself and the lucky ones that get over their depression, don’t always know what kind of people they are, what their personality was like.

I have found my perfect method…insofar as any method can be perfect. No way of murdering yourself can be pretty…at the end of the day you’re leaving behind a slab of rotting meat for others to clear up and dispose of…but what can you do? Life is forcing my hand.

I’m 52, well past my prime, overweight, bipolar, on meds for many years, fucked up by them, now having to come off some because it’s that or diabetes. So I’m in withdrawal, and the depression is worse, I’m suicidal from morning till night, it’s practically all I think about.

I’ve tried to kill myself about .. 7 times. I’ve tried hanging.. Ended up blacking out and waking up to Demond’s and evil thing coming after me. I’ve overdosed 3 times. From everything that I have read on here most want a painless death. I do too. But I give up. It seems that the only options available are painful and dirty or gruesome. And I want death so much that I am willing to go through the pain. After all it will only be a few minutes. What is that compared to a lifetime of pain?

When I watch shows or movies or read a book, I start acting like a character I enjoy the most. I started watching skins (uk) and I liked Cassie a lot. That’s when I catch myself acting like her. I do this a lot with other characters.

Why do people use the troll card?

Why do some people–I’ve noticed it a lot on this site–call one a troll if you say something that upsets their feelings, no matter how truthful and factual you are being?

Essentially it goes like this:

Person A is debating Person B. Â Person A says something Person B gets upset by. Â Person C interjects and agrees with Person A. Â Person B says Person A is also Person C and a troll.

So the logic is … everyone who agrees with Person A is Person A.

After almost a year on medication, I have slipped back into depression. I have gone back to everything I used to be and now I am plagued with the same deafening negative thoughts that haunt my every waking minute. I want someone to talk to, someone anonymous that will let me talk about my issues without ignoring me or even becoming too concerned, or frightened…

If there is anyone on here that wants this from someone as well (and preferably lives in Australia so we can text) I will happily be that person for you, if you are willing to be that person for me.
