This thought just suddenly occur to me.
For those of you who feel so much apathy and hopeless & pessimistic with how our current world is, and that you somehow feel hopeless & helpless to do anything about it, in other words, you feel that you just can’t “change the world”, the current fucked-up state/condition of the world we’re living in, no matter how much you’re aching for it,..but honestly, has it ever occur to you all that, even by posting and discussing in this website, has already created a CHANGE, even though it started only a little, and as an “idea”. But like the premise of the most recent award-winning movie: Inception, an idea is like a ‘growing virus’, that it can keep growing bigger and BIGGER. It never go smaller, not especially with the Internet technology that seems to level the playing fields, to give even quite a ‘fair’ hope and play, to ‘ordinary common’ people like us, who can now FREELY post & discuss our ideas/thoughts/whatever, and thus, leaving a PRINT/MARK in the google/internet search, for the next generations to see! (just like how I’ve found this great website, just by randomly googling “I hate this world”!).
It’s a CHANGE.
Even if it started with just an idea or a discussion,..it could start into a bigger things, or Change, especially if we or other people who ‘connect’ and keep enhancing the “idea”.
So by posting in here, you have somewhat made a CHANGE, from a “hopeless nothing”, into a “somewhat HOPEful a bit” ,..and that should count as ‘something meaningful’ as long as you’re still breathing in this Earthly life, isn’t it?.. it means you’re already creating a HOPE, and even also reciprocately finding HOPE, just by reading & nodding & agreeing to other person/people’s ideas here…and that’s already a CHANGE, a change in your mindset, to hopefully make you continue to do something, bigger and more meaningful things perhaps!
..what do you think?

I don’t know. I haven’t seen Inception yet.
I think that it’s only like-minded people who stumble upon this site, so my ideas aren’t changing anything – it’s just connecting me to others who more or less feel similar. When I think about all my “normal” friends, I’m 100% positive that there’s no way they’d ever navigate their way here. I just did because I typed in words that conveyed the way I *already* felt.
Maybe there’s others here who are different? Not quite sure. I can only speak for me.
I would agree that even getting yourself to read something on here or post something is a start, and certainly better than nothing. Sometimes the change is in just knowing that many other people feel the same way you do.
reyna15: yes, exactly. Even just knowing that many other people feel the same way you do is already a *change* itself, and it is by no means something that can be easily ignored. I mean, now you *know* deep inside your heart that you’re NOT alone, ie: there are similar people like you at the other side of the computer screen.
and how each of you here kept COMMENTing, responding with each other, is a PROOF enough that each person here think that this earthly Life is *still* so precious,..no matter how ‘hell-ish’ it could seem to be.
There are still OTHER people who still *care* about you, as proven in the ‘supporting each other’ posts & comments, even so beautiful the BOND, the connection is here!
and JennyA, dear sweetie, who said that you have to be “normal” to experience, or even to create a CHANGE?
I mean,..if you look at all the greatest people/figures in the human history, you would find one common treads among them: these people are NOT *normal, ordinary* people!
trust me when I said that you probably meant a lot, so much to *some* people in your vicinity, in your surroundings, in your family, friends, etc.
and I know it’s really ironic sometimes, but I’ll bet my life that if you were to die, THEN these people would suddenly and usually realize of how much they really lose and miss such a GREAT, sensitive, and *unique* person in their life!
And especially,..if you keep living, for another day, and instead of keep blaming yourself & feeling guilty for not being “normal”, then you can just be DIFFERENT, and try to find & connect with like-minded ‘different’, ‘unique’ people too, and then go create, create bigger CHANGES like you want to see.
These words always ring so true nowadays in my life, and I treasure it a lot, especially during my ‘loneliness’ & hard times, feeling like noone else understand me, like you also feel :
“Be the Change that you want to see” ~ Mahatma Gandhi
The world might really NEED, and thirst, and wait for a CHANGE that only YOU uniquely can make/create!
