well I’m visually impaired and two years ago, I failed my university course in psychology. I just couldn’t cope with the presure and workload. I’ve been continuing to pretend to university to my family all this time, but recently my dad says he neds proof of my studies for the council. I only have four months left before I leave ‘uni’ but there would come a time when results and graduation would come into play. I obviously would have difficulty running away because as a partially sighted person there arent many places I could run to and i’m sure police would pin me down. wel my dad is away for the night and its 3am in England and yesterday afternoon, I was surprised to go to Tesco’s and find them selling a tank of helium and I read on a website that if u attatch it to a mask you would go peacefully. I KNOW THE CONSEQUENCES WILL BE DIRE IF i FAIL OR MY DAD FINDS THE HELIUM TANK FULLBUT AT THE MINUTE i AM STRUGGLING TO FIND MY BOTTLE TO GO THROUGH WITH IT AND TIME IS TICKING AWAY SO QUICKLY. i FEEL i HAVE NO CHOICE BECAUSE WITHOUT A DEGREE, i HAVE NO FUTURE AND HAVING A GOOD JOB WAS ALL i EVER WANTED, i WANTED TO SUCCEED IN LIFE AND MAKE SOMETHING OF MYSELF. vISUALLY IMPAIRED PEOPLE HAVE severely LIMITED JOB OPTIONS WITH NO QUALIFICATIONS AND THE SHAME IN MY FAMILY, ESPECIALLY ON MY DADS SIDE AS HE HAS A BIG FAMILY WOULD BE UNBEARABLE!! THATS ALL THEY EVER WANTED FROM ME TO DO SOMETHING WITH MY LIFE AND i SCREWED IT UP. i AM NOT DEPRESSED AND NEVER HAVE BEEN, IN FACT DURING THE 2 YEARS OF LIVING A LIE i’VE HAD SOME QUITE HAPPY DAYS. Siz 4 writing in capitals. Someone on here said something about dutch courage so I might try that.

You are young. There is a lot left to go. Just fess up and admit what has been going on. I know it seems terrifying , but once you do it, it will feel so much better.
Believe me, I am speaking from experience. Just let it out and let the chips fall where they may.
Good luck to you.
You seem like a bright lady, you should not let anyone interfere with YOU. YOU can do anything you want to do, you just need to find the right direction. be true to yourself, and everything will work out <3
You come across as well-spoken and intelligent… and someone who, no doubt, could make a difference in this world. You have come so far in life… to the point of attending uni. Yes… Things got challenging for you… Uni is challenging for so many people. Please don’t give up on yourself. In the past, I’m sure you showed determination at what got in your way… Now is the time to show more determination. It will take some effort… but things can always be adjusted and succeeded at. Don’t give up.
