The hard wall of grief and pain

Hides me from a happier day

This awful life chokes me on a chain

I want it to end, to fade away

No joy, no love, no cause

I seek solace in death

The agony, like harsh claws

I wish to take my last breath

I need a flicker of hope

But someone keeps blowing out my flame.
