Society is changing, there are more acceptance than it were a few years ago, so let the fear behind you and live your life because love isn’t love if you are that scared.
hey i’m constantly afraid of many things as well. i’m pretty sure i have social anxiety, and although my fear never completely went away, once i understood my fear better, i was able to live with it better. like everything, your fear will take some time to overcome. i would recommend seeing a psychologist or talking to someone who is sympathetic. there is still a slight stigma associated with gayness (depending on where you come from), but after a certain point you will learn to put society in the background.
“gay” is about WHO you love … not HOW you love – gay is gay, dog is dog, cat is cat … love is love – hetero folks have the same fears and worries, triumphs and tribulations in love as lgbt – so please don’t equate “gay” to “bad” just because you’re having love difficulties. lgbt has a hard enough time being accepted without creating a myth that somehow being gay corrupts love
