So sick of all the happy posts

Most people use the word love without ever actually defining it for themselves.
We assume that as adults we understand, that one day we magically awoke and able to express Love, Hope, Purpose, Meaning…
Most adults feel entitled to this thing called love

We must work for that which no work is required.

To receive what is freely given requires being able to receive!
To give without attachment or expectation requires self knowledge!

Love, Hope, Purpose, Meaning are skills
To wield these concepts well requires consciousness, awareness of what we mean when we seek to give and receive such a things as love.

How would you define Love?

Is love how someone makes you feel?
Is love having someone spend time with you, receiving gifts, affirmation, acts of service, or physical touch?
Or are all those things just expressions of love a way of being present to the other?

Love a way of being instead of a way of having!

We are fortunate that the command is to love our neighbours and not like our neighbours,
Turns out loving is allot easier then liking. The great thing with a mature love is that you aren’t required to like someone all the time.

We live in a world of liking is confused with loving.

You can choose to be miserable when someone wishes you a Happy Valentine’s day.
Make it all about you or you could extend some grace to the other.
No need to look for hidden agendas, expectation, attachments, or analysis’s just accepting what is given with grace,

Be the love that you seek and who knows who will smile back.
