I’ve given up all of my hopes, all of my dreams and all of my love. All I wanted was a friend to be there for me and stand up for me…someone to care. But now I only want one thing.

Yar, life sure sucks. 🙁
Having nothing left lose you might as well try letting go of your hopes and dreams and love instead of giving up of them.
You see when you’ve “given up on all your hopes and dreams†you haven’t let go of anything but instead are actually hanging to their loss, and hanging on for dear life.
You hurt because you given up and continue hanging on if only to memory of if only.
If you really don’t have anything to lose you would let go
And letting go might discover that you were always falling anyway, that we are all always falling. That falling is our natural state of being.
And falling no need to appeal to hope or dreams, or hold on, free to free fall and enjoy the ride… can you feel the wind flowing past your face and through your hair, no need to thresh about, to grasp at air, can you feel the peace of falling.
No need to appeal or feel bad because you do not appeal!
Imagine a life where you didn’t have to appeal to hope and dreams for happiness… where you didn’t have to measure every single thought and moment to see how well you were doing. No more grasping and threshing about and instead let ourselves fall into the moment as is, as we are, doing better we can do better.
What might we attract into our lives then?
Doing better when we learn and can do better. Isn’t that all anyone can do.
Yeah, that’s all I ever wanted too… To know that at least someone cares about me. Hey, I could try and be your friend! I’m not too “cool” or interesting but I can be a great friend! (sigh) I am lame… If you need someone to talk to, you can email me…

If life has come to you giving up all your hopes and dreams… well then why not start creating new dreams and ambitions. Your life is what you make of it, regardless of class, social status, etc.
your title reminds me of the song im dancing to for my solo: Breathe me by sia. I know the feeling of being alone and just wanting a friend, not meeting up to your own expectations of the future. Im sorry its a terrible feeling.
