I don’t think that’s what they meant by dreams.
But, you seem gifted with prose. It sounds like you are dreaming of peace and relief. Unfortunately, and I am saying this to myself as well, I think this needs to be cultivated and pursued, and it’s most difficult to do this when we are in the dark, isolated pit of depression.
Yesterday, i was reading a compilation of a Russian ambassadors notes regarding different species of extraterrestrials, which supposedly went through several printings from the 1950s to the 1980s, but it is suspect at best; but they did have a section of select quotes from aliens, one of which was something to the effect of: “Of all of the species we have encountered, none think so often of killing themselves as you humans.”
