“Keep it in
Don’t let it out
You have to be strong
You can’t be weak
You have to move on
Don’t let them see
That you’re in pain
Don’t let them notice
That you’re slowly breaking
Don’t cry in public
But instead in your room
With the door closed
The music blasting
So they don’t hear the sobs
They can’t hear the screams
Though they never would
Even without the music
Because the screams you scream
Are silent like the night
You can’t let them know
You have to go on
Live on being strong
Don’t trip and fall down
Because there is no one to pick you up
There is no one to pick up
Your broken pieces
The shattered pieces of your heart
You have to keep it in
You have to hide your feelings
You have to
Because you have to be strong
No exceptions
Because if you’re not strong
Then people will fall at your side
Dropping at your side
While the tears will drop just as fast
Be strong and nothing else
Don’t let them know
That you’re not okay
Don’t let them now
That you’re not fine
Just let them think
That you are happy
And joyful
Nothing more
Nothing less
Because if you do show
That you are depressed
And sad and broken
People will worry
And just feel worse
You have to be strong.”
I tell myself.

LetItGo,
muh poetry gurl of SP. How goes? Well I see you again here, so perhaps not completely in your favor? Yeah, I understand.
You mention nobody else being there? And yes, maybe others are a necessity of life, for motivation and all that shizazz. But first, above all of them, are *you* there for yourself. Do you wake up every morning able to stand *yourself*? Do *you* think your worth it while the whole rest of the world may not? Perhaps ‘no’ to all of those. Same here. But I think starting with yourself [if you can], is a small step but a giant leap. Have you tried? I bet. But, well, nothing ever works out the first time, eh.
So much worry about others. We got struck with the same case, on that one. And I fail to have a cure to that one, so . . . yep.
But definitely keep telling yourself to be strong. That is definitely the spirit, LetItGo! 🙂
We are all here for you… well most of us are. If you need someone to talk to, please email me at thatoneboy@gmail.com — I will gladly sit down and talk
