There are a long list of things we are not allowed to say, and feelings we are not allowed to feel. Isn’t that true my fellow slaves? You did know you’re slaves, right? From the moment you’re born you are a slave to your parents and to this society. That is why what we say and feel must be regulated. That is why dissenters must be outcast as “evil” horrible people. Because in order to keep the system going, we can’t have dissent. Dissent wakes people’s minds up, and awake people rebel, and what society fears most, is rebellion. “Being born is like being kidnapped and sold into slavery.” Truer words were never said. When we realize that life is enslavement, we will not destroy others by perpetuating it. And so my fellow slaves, I give you this list:
What you are Not Allowed to Say, Think, or Feel
1.  I do not want to be part of this earth/ society.
2. I do not want to be part of the human race. I believe that Homo Sapiens are an evil, cruel and destructive race that should not exist. I hope that humanity becomes extinct soon.
3. I believe that it is evil on par with slavery, kidnapping and torture to bring new life into a world such as ours. I believe that it is always wrong to create children, who inherently suffer and cause suffering, and ultimately die.
4. I believe that god is malevolent and the Bible an atrocious book of violence and evil
5. I believe that no one gives consent to being born, and that it is anyone’s right regardless of age, physical, or mental condition, to receive a humane assisted death at their choosing
6. I believe that this earth should be destroyed
7. Work is boring, useless and meaningless. We work only to provide for our basic needs and to make ourselves feel useful and needed regardless of the context that our existence has no meaning
8. There is absolutely no reason for the human race to continue existing and absolutely no justification for all the suffering it has caused
9. I am outraged at my parents for creating me. They did not have the right to do so. I feel only like a slave to them.
10. Life is not full of meaning, it just is. I guess its some way for god to pass the time watching his creatures struggle. There is no great meaning for all this random shit. It is the doings of a fucked up god with a fucked up mind
11. Beauty is not in the eye of the beholder. Some people are beautiful and some people are not.  Physical beauty lies in one’s genes, not in other peoples thoughts about you
12. To think that we will be rewarded for doing good and punished for doing evil is naïve and wishful thinking. It is usually quite the reverse
13. I can’t “be anything I want to be”, idiotic kindergarten teacher. Genes, environment, obligations, and opportunities decide such things. Not simply desire.
14. God really seems to love torturing the most helpless and innocent lives while blessing their tormentors. This god is no more than a sadist and opportunist forcing all lives on earth to bend to his cruel “master plan”
15. I believe the day is coming that the earth will burn to ash and be forever forgotten. I look forward to this day more than any other.
16. Dear mom, dad, and society at large: Listen, all I ever wanted was to leave! You have always owned my life but I have always dreamed of leaving you all behind.  For me death is the only freedom. I didn’t want a childhood, or enduring tedious years of school, or doctors visits or illness or ER’s or emotional chaos or college or work or adulthood or anything. I only wanted to leave.  All the “investments” you’ve made in my life were done for your own sake, your own desire to have me exist, without regard to what I wanted and how I suffered as your slave. I hate how you have owned and dominated my life.  When I die I will forget you and your god.

Rach, your posts and comments are always very… heart-breaking. You’re always quick to talk about how stupid and slow you are. You might have mental issues, and in many ways you are dysfunctional. But when I see posts like this, the words so clear, the thoughts so well-defined and expressed, I have to believe that you are, in some ways, highly intelligent. At least as far as critical thinking and reasoning goes. Most average “normal” people have trouble grasping the types of concepts that you have pointed out.
The world and the situation it has put you in has made you bitter, and no one should blame you for that. The truths of this world become clear when you are constantly being screwed by them. When you have the ability to see things as they really are (for the most part at least), it’s difficult to be happy with them, or life in general.
I like your attitude. Are you a Sagittarius?
Totally agree, for what it’s worth.
“I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream” is a short story you may like — probably won’t cheer you up though, but it’s dark humor. I don’t believe in gods or afterlives of any kind, so unfortunately all of the misery in the world is caused only by us humans, against ourselves, as I see it.
Have you heard of VHEMT? If not, google it……
Very well stated… I agree very much with a lot of this post however, I personally don’t blame my parents.
Most people manage to go about their lives being shepherded about and having their thoughts influenced by the news and the media, generally people are very susceptible to letting others think for them and new subjects and atrocities are often brought in slowly in ways for the general public to accept them as normal. Other times bad things are over-reported frequently and this desensitises people from seeing the true horrors in a situation by making them think that things like that always happen and suddenly it just becomes normal and a part of life.
So I cant really blame other people for not being able to see beyond the conditioning nature of society (while raising a child it’s called giving them an upbringing, if you take a person from their society and train them in different values it’s called brainwashing… personally I see no difference, and it is certainly no different than the daily conditioning that happens to everyone in society). Maybe people are stupid, or ignorant or too lazy to think for themselves but it’s not usually their fault that they are being continually conditioned.
I completely agree that life is meaningless. There is no point to it. We are all going to die in the end. Why should we be forced to live longer than necessary if we are going to be unhappy whilst doing so.
@ Persa, I am a cancer
@bz…yes, VHEMT, voluntary human extinction movement. I strongly support their ideals. I don’t believe the human race will ever voluntarily go extinct. I believe this will have to occur by outside force.
What about love, compassion, empathy and tenderness? What about feeling good? Positive thoughts, positive actions, and spreading the love around?
I agree there are plenty of people on this planet who aren’t very nice, but you can’t control what they think, do or say. You can only control you and your reactions to others.
(I’m playing devils advocate, Rach. I’m trying to look at the big picture from another perspective).
Life isn’t fair and we weren’t all created equally. Some people get advantages while others don’t. Maintaining a positive attitude while holding a losing hand won’t prevent one from losing, but it might help lessen the sting of defeat. Alcohol helps too.
@C4, I just feel that this is a “game” I don’t want to play. I know I was dealt a losing hand. No one wants to play a game they know they will lose.
